She is the former Editor of the Canadian Law Library Review and teaches Legal Literature and Librarianship at the University of Toronto iSchool. Maureen F. Fitzgerald, PhD, LL.M., J.D., BComm., taught legal research and writing at the University of Victoria and the University of British Columbia for several years. She practised law for over 20 years in both Ontario and British Columbia and now blogs and writes on cutting edge topics including restorative justice and gender equality. She has a doctorate degree from the University of British Columbia on legal education, and a master’s degree in law from the London School of Economics, specializing in alternative dispute resolution. Dr Fitzgerald has written many articles and six books, including So you Think you Need a Lawyer (2000); Corporate Circles (2006); One Circle (2006); Hiring, Managing and Keeping the Best (2002); and Mission Possible (2003).
Susan Barker is the Digital Services and Reference librarian at the Bora Laskin Law Library, University of Toronto Faculty of Law.
