Workload Expectations

This course is a standard 15 point course and students are expected to spend 10 hours per week involved in each 15 point course that they are enrolled in.

For this course, you can expect 2-3 hour workshop, 1 hours of reading and thinking about the content and 6-7 hours of work on assignments. For the team assignment you can expect to meet with your team members for 1 hour per week as part of your work commitment to the assignment.

How is a typical case study based interview for a project/program manager structured?

I am preparing for interviews and have read at some places that sometimes during the interview the interviewees are given a case study and are asked to come up with a project management plan in 45 mins. a) Is there any structured approach to deal with such questions in such a small timeframe? Any resources would be useful. b) What should be my approach to deal with such questions? c) I was personally thinking to just come up with a initial project charter sort of document as quickly as possible based on the case study and then explain each section on a very high level. Would this approach be fine? d) Would the interviewer expect me to prepare WBS as well? If yes how can I get this done in as less time as possible and still persuade the interviewer that I know how to make it and what the different problems one could face?
