Essay_an education trip to cameron highlands.

These are three essays I copied from other websites for your reference.

An Educational Trip to Cameron Highlands

On 21 June 2010, the Geographical Society of our school made an educational trip to Cameron Highlands. Thirty students/ members of the society accompanied by four teachers went on the trip. We set off at 6.30 am by coach and reached there at 9.00 am sharp.

The main purpose of the trip was to enable the members of the society to study nature and build better rapport among them. In addition, the students would be able to gain first hand knowledge on what they have learned in their Geography lessons. This would enable them to understand their lessons better.

The weather there was cool and refreshing. All the way up the hill, we saw beautiful lush greenery on the hill slopes. Our first stop was at a huge rose garden, probably one of the best in our country. Many varieties of roses were planted there. It was a fascinating sight to see shades of red, pink, yellow and orange roses swaying gently the breeze! There, we observed the workers working in the farm. Some were aerating the soil; while others were watering and trimming the plants.

After the rose garden, we visited a large tea plantation. There we saw vast areas of green tea shrubs growing on the hill slopes. The scenery was beautiful and refreshing! We witnessed women workers plucking young tea leaves with their nimble fingers, throwing them into the baskets strapped on their backs.

At 6.00 p.m. we headed home. We found the trip educational and beneficial. The members saw for themselves highland features such as hills and waterfalls and the co-relation between the cool climate and the economic activities.

Hi Grace, I noticed that the number of paragraphs is inconsistent. I have been telling my kids to do 5 paragraphs, which I thought is the norm, and they’re used to this format already. Will they be penalised for writing beyond that?

Hi Kevin, I wouldn’t see that as a major issue in essay writing (though many might not agree) I think students are free to write with the style that they feel most comfortable with. And I’m sure you’re doing a great job with your kids now.

Hi Grace, It’s comforting to have that assurance. My kids tend to “overwrite”, which poses a headache when I mark. 🙂 Thanks for the reply.

My school trip essay

School trips leave a great impact in the mind of the student, where he goes without his family, with his friends and colleagues, which allow him to rely on himself and take responsibility and enjoy the activities of the trip.

Each school planning for trips is as a recreational and educational way, supervised by social workers and school supervisors, who planning visits, ticketing, bus booking, etc.

I went on a school trip to (name of the city) of (Governorate name). of (city area in km) and (population number) approximately.

I prepared my small bag and put sandwiches, juice and water for the trip. I went to sleep early to wake up early to be full of energy on the journey.

We rode the bus in front of the school in the early morning and we left our parents and friends who did not come with us.

The bus driver displayed a documentary about the city we were going to visit and the tour supervisor told us about the directions and instructions we should follow and how to act in case of lost. He provided us emergency numbers and asked us to write them in a paper and keep in our pocket.

We arrived at our destination and started visiting the (museum name) which is a large museum featuring many important items that tell us the history of the city.

Then we went to visit the open museum which is an open area with many beautiful items.

Then we went to visit the important landmarks of the city.

The last stop of the trip was to visit the amusement park, a recreational city with lots of games.

The supervisor gave us two hours to enjoy our time, play the games we want and assemble before the door of the amusement park in preparation for riding the bus and back to our city.

We gathered two hours later in front of the amusement park door, the supervisor checked everyone’s presence and then we boarded the bus and returned to our city.

It was a beautiful day we enjoyed it a lot and we saw many of the city’s famous sights.

We learned a lot about its history and the history of its inhabitants.

Finally, we reached our city late at night. Our families were waiting for us.

We thanked the tour supervisor and went to our homes to sleep and prepare for school the next day.

a memorable school trip essay

It’s great to enjoy a little bit away from school and home for rejuvenation and energy, and this is exactly what happened. After working hard and excelling in school, I was able to go out on an unforgettable school trip. Through this trip, I was able to define my goals and benefit greatly from them.

This was an excursion to one of the seminars of the great Steve Jones. Just being in the midst of this huge crowd of scientists, inventors and businessmen made me know what I want to become in the future, and what are my upcoming priorities.

On this journey I was able to find answers to many of my questions and found the inspiration I wanted. Now I want to become in the future an inventor of something useful that benefits humanity and achieve great success for me, whether material or moral, through fame.

It is wonderful to know the importance of technology to society and how we inevitably go to it and the development of all means of services around us. And with just a little bit of clinging to the dream and fighting for it like Steve did, I can certainly succeed too.

simple essay on school trip

I feel very happy to go on a trip to the football stadium. This was a big surprise for us, to be able to watch an important match with friends.

Of course, I watched many matches with my family before, but this time the experience is different because it is with my friends and I was able to express and launch my enthusiasm, without feeling any pressure.

I enjoy this experience so much, and for sure I want to repeat this experience in other activities. Now I can’t wait to go home and tell my brother about this experience, and that in the future he should try going out with his friends on school trips and enjoying this holiday. It gives great psychological comfort and a boost of activity that helps to return to study with full vitality and activity.

essay on school trip to a park

Oh my gosh, I can’t describe the beauty of nature that I enjoyed during my last school trip. There is a very big difference between the constant presence between the big and fast industrial life and the relaxation in the vast gardens and parks that do not contain any noise.

It is great to go through this experience and go to one of the most beautiful parks that contain very beautiful gardening works and organized views of trees and roses.

The wonderful engineering work that I saw in the park is one of the best landscapes that my friends and I enjoyed watching.

And certainly immediately we felt the amount of interest and love from the people responsible for this place, and how they can preserve and show this place this beauty.

Of course I would love to go back on a school trip to the park and enjoy physical games with my friends like we did. This was one of the things I enjoyed in nature. It is great to find large green areas. This helped me relax a lot.

school tour experience essay

I would very much like to write an article about my experience in the last school tour, and point out the things I liked the most.

I find this tour very different from many of our previous tours. Previously, the tour was in only one place, and curiosity and enthusiasm ended before the tour ended.

But certainly this was different when we were able to visit many places in the same tour, such as the museum, the garden and the library. All of these places had a different effect.

We find when visiting the museum and meeting one of the guides working in the museum that he has that interesting and funny way of explaining the holdings. It makes you want to know more about its origin and the civilization it comes from.

But due to the lack of time, this made me even more excited, eager to listen. I am also eager to see another place and enjoy. This made it more beautiful and did not leave any way for boredom.

When visiting the library, I was able to sign one of the famous books and see some of the authors of these books. I always watched this event through movies only. It is great to try this experience and get some interesting and useful books.

But certainly nothing is so wonderful after a long day of listening and paying attention as visiting the park and walking around it to release all that energy.

I cannot describe the beauty of how I felt in the experience of the games and activities that we did inside the park. I can say this was the best school trip experience I’ve ever had.

a school field trip essay in English

One of the great school field trips I enjoyed was this trip, this weekend we were able to go on a school field trip to the zoo.

And there were a lot of interesting animals that wanted to feed and take pictures, many pictures with them. But of course, every field trip cannot pass without new experiences, some of which you will benefit from and others that delight you.

I can’t stop laughing whenever I remembered the monkeys, and how they used to behave, I can’t believe how smart this animal is, and how it can make you happy at any time. And also watching the peacock, what a beauty!, I did not feel the consistency and beauty of the colors, as I saw in this bird.

It was wonderful to learn some information about the habitat of many animals, which made me very eager to read about them, how they live and how important the group is to them, and how to unite among them, such as the blue whale and other collective animals that live in groups and like the wolf as well.

Certainly this field trip was very wonderful and contained a lot of information that I benefited from.

In this way we have given you  My school trip essay, and you can read more through the following section:

Lately, I am feeling very demotivated to study but I don’t know how to overcome this problem. Should I talk to my parents, ask for help from my teachers or just keep my feelings to myself? Do you have any other suggestions for me? Regards, Samantha In about 80 words, write an email to Samantha to give her some advice. Model Answer To: [email protected] From: [email protected] Subject: Do not bottle up your feelings! Hi Samantha, First of all, I want you to know that it is completely normal to feel demotivated. However, you should try to talk to your parents about your feelings. It is important for us to share our feelings with other people so that they can help us find a solution to our problem. If you find it hard to talk about your feelings, you can write down the things that you want to say on a piece of paper. The most important thing is not to keep your feelings bottled up. I hope you will enjoy your online classes. Regards, Samuel USEFUL TIP When you offer a suggestion, you can give some ideas on how your suggestion can be carried out. 4 PART 01 SUCCES ESSAY PT3 1P.indd 4 14/09/2021 2:47 PM English PT3 Part 1 – Emails Model 2 Family Outing Model Question Read the following email from your cousin, Mei Ling. You can also build sandcastles or collect seashells. Once you are tired from all the excitement, you can have a relaxing picnic with your family. I think you and your family will have a blast at the beach! Lucas, I hope your first day back in school after the Movement Control Order (MCO) went well. Don’t forget to sanitise your school bag once you are home. There is a sanitising spray and sanitising wipes in the cupboard next to the door. Please let me know which type of sanitiser you prefer as I will be to the supermarket after work. Mom In about 80 words, write a note to your mother to tell her your choice. Model Answer Mom, I think I prefer to use a sanitising spray to sanitise my school bag and shoes after school. As my school bag is quite bulky, it is easier to use a spray. It is also more economical since a single bottle of spray can last for a few weeks. On the other hand, sanitising wipes have to be replaced regularly and they create a lot of rubbish since we have to throw them away afterwards. Please buy more sanitising sprays when you go to the supermarket later. I also need a bottle of hand sanitiser to bring to school. Lucas USEFUL TIP You can add extra examples of your own as long as they are related to the main topic to make your answer more interesting. 9 PART 01 SUCCES ESSAY PT3 1P.indd 9 14/09/2021 2:47 PM English PT3 Part 1 – Messages/ Notes Model 6 Note – Movie Time Model Question Read the following note from your mother. As we all know, one of the most important SOP is wearing a face mask at all times when in school. Recently, a survey was carried out by the Prefect Board to see if students are following the SOP. It was found that some students have not been disposing their used masks properly. Students have been carelessly leaving their used masks on the ground or in their desk drawers. The situation is especially bad after recess and right before school ends. It is important to not simply discard our used masks. Firstly, it pollutes the environment. It is also very unhygienic. If the mask is contaminated, it will expose other people to harmful bacteria and viruses. Moreover, it troubles the cleaning workers who will have to pick up after these irresponsible students. According to the SOP, used masks must be folded and tied with the earloops so that they do not unravel. Then, they should be wrapped with a layer of tissue paper before they are thrown into the dustbin. The school should put up posters about this matter around the school. This will remind students to follow the SOP at all times. Finally, the Prefect Board will also keep an eye on the students. Anyone who does not follow the SOP will be directly reported to the Discipline Master. This will ensure that the school remains safe during the pandemic. WORDBank adherence – following rules discard – throw away contaminated – not safe to be used anymore unravel – become loose 224 PART 02D SUCCES ESSAY PT3 1P.indd 224 14/09/2021 3:27 PM English PT3 Part 2 – Theme: Environment Model 111 Imported Waste Model Question Article Recently, the issue of imported waste has been making waves in our country. In about 120 words, write an article for your school magazine to talk about your opinion on the issue. You may use the notes below to help you. Downside of recycling Concept of Imported waste recycling Imported waste Proper waste Illegal recycling management factories Write your article. Introduction • Explain the concept of recycling 225 PART 02D SUCCES ESSAY PT3 1P.indd 225 14/09/2021 3:27 PM English PT3 Part 2 – Theme: Environment Body • Downside of recycling – incorrect way of recycling – risk of pollution • Imported waste – from other countries – earn money • Illegal recycling factories – not monitored – bigger chance of pollution Conclusion • Stress on the importance of proper waste management Model Answer Imported Waste Recycling is the process of turning old unwanted materials into new materials that can be reused. This way we will use less of the earth’s natural resources that are depleting at a fast pace. Many types of materials can be recycled such as paper, metals, glass and plastic. However, there is also a downside to recycling. When it is not done correctly, recycling can lead to pollution. For example, some materials are not suitable to be recycled. These materials are often burned or buried in the ground. If they are burned, the burning process will release dangerous chemicals into the air. If they are buried into the ground, they will contaminate the soil. Apart from that, there is the issue of imported waste. Imported waste is when a country imports waste from another country for recycling. This is mostly done to earn money from the recycling process. Malaysia is also involved in the business of imported waste. In 2018, Malaysia imported more than 1 million tonnes of waste from countries such as the US, the UK and South Korea. However, much of the waste were imported through illegal means. The recycling factories are operating without permission from the authorities. In other words, the recycling process is not monitored. As a result, there is an even bigger chance of air and soil pollution as well as other environmental damage. In conclusion, proper waste management and recycling are important for Malaysia to become a truly well-developed country. This includes the issue of imported waste as we also do not want to become the rubbish bin of the world. WORDBank resources – materials that can be used depleting – becoming less damage – harm 226 PART 02D SUCCES ESSAY PT3 1P.indd 226 14/09/2021 3:27 PM English PT3 Part 2 – Theme: Environment Model 112 Earth Day Celebration Model Question Speech You have been asked to deliver a speech in conjunction with Earth Day celebration in your school. Introduction • Brief history of Earth Day • Purpose of speech – three activities to save the earth Body • Learn more about an environmental issue – share knowledge with classmates • Cook a healthy meal – vegetables and beans – organic meat • Give away items that are no longer of use – reuse and recycle Conclusion • Everyone can play a part in saving the earth Model Answer The very first Earth Day was celebrated on 22 April 1970. This day was created by American Senator, Gaylord Nelson, to make people aware of the importance of keeping our planet healthy and clean. Earth Day is a perfect time to reflect about what you are doing to help protect the environment. Today, I would like to suggest three simple activities that we can carry out to save the earth. 227 PART 02D SUCCES ESSAY PT3 1P.indd 227 14/09/2021 3:27 PM English PT3 Part 2 – Theme: Environment The first activity is to learn more about the environment. Earth Day is a good time to make a commitment to learn more about the environment and how we can help to protect it. Read up on an issue such as pollution, endangered species, water shortages, recycling and climate change. Alternatively, learn about a region you have never encountered before, like the Arctic, the desert or the rainforest. Then give a short presentation to your class to share what you have learnt. The next activity is to cook a special Earth Day meal. Plan a menu that introduces locally produced food which is healthy and has minimal impact on the environment. Use vegetable and bean products as these use less resources to grow. If you would like to eat meat, look for locally-produced organic meat. Lastly, look into your closets and cupboards, and remove the things that are no longer useful to you. By giving away your old toys to younger children, you will learn two lessons. One is about giving to others and the second is about reusing and recycling instead of discarding things. Encourage your parents to do the same with their clothes, electrical appliances and books. Every one of us can do something to help the planet on Earth Day. Although our individual efforts may seem like a drop in the ocean, everything we do to help the planet counts, such as opting to walk to school or helping to clean up litter from our neighbourhood park! Thank you. WORDBank IDIOMS encountered – discovered or experienced a drop in the ocean – having a small impact – the effect of something impact on an important issue discarding – throwing away INFO CORNER Recycling one aluminium can saves enough energy to listen to a full album on your Ipod. Many residents in the low-lying areas were trapped at home due to the rising water level. Several main roads, including Jalan Nyabor and Jalan Central were submerged. Among the affected buildings were the Sarawak House shopping complex, two hotels and a petrol station. Heavy rain and flood waters overflowing from the Upper Rejang River have worsened the situation. An official at the state flood operations room said that the river had remained above the alert level for the past three days. She said that five roads in Sibu outskirts were under 0.5 metres of water and inaccessible to small vehicles. These roads include Jalan Salim, Jalan Stabau and Jalan Bawang Assan. The house, which is situated at a corner lot, is overgrown with weeds and strewn with rubbish. The house has been in this filthy condition for the past two years. The Chairman of the Residents’ Association, Encik Rashid Abdullah, who lives opposite the house, said that the house is a good hideout for drug addicts. Coincidentally, the occurrences of petty thefts around the neighbourhood have also been on the rise recently. His house has already been broken into twice and he says that he fears for the safety of his family. The house has also become home to stray dogs and cats which are a nuisance in the area. Residents living nearby have to endure the stench emanating from the house. A resident, who wished to remain anonymous, said the windows are so dirty that even if he stands close to them, he will not be able to see the inside of the house. He urged the Shah Alam City Council to take action against the owner. Shah Alam Councillor Puan Ana Razak said that the council would send a notice to the house owner, ordering him to clear the rubbish within seven days. ‘If the owner fails to do so, the council will clean up the house and bill the owner for the costs of the clean-up,’ she added. Firemen were forced to utilise water from a nearby lake to supplement the water supply. As a result, he said, the firemen took close to four hours to bring the raging flames under control in the hilly area. There were no reports of property damage in the area. When it rains heavily, the road gets flooded, thus blocking off the only means of access for residents. The problem has been highlighted in the newspaper many times, but nothing has been done to solve the problem. The residents want another road to be built as an alternative. The second problem is the lack of public transportation servicing Sunnyvale Park. The nearest bus stop is located some two kilometres from the entrance to our neighbourhood. Not all residents have private vehicles and it is inconvenient and taxing for residents, especially senior citizens, to walk that far. We would like the authorities to consider extending the bus route to cover our area. The residents have also been without telephone lines since we moved in six months ago. When we contacted the service provider, we were told that there was no urgency to install telephone lines as most people had their own mobile phones. We feel that this is a feeble excuse. It has caused a lot of inconvenience to those who cannot afford mobile phones. 236 PART 02D SUCCES ESSAY PT3 1P.indd 236 14/09/2021 3:27 PM English PT3 Part 2 – Theme: Environment Lastly, we need a dedicated space for the night market, which is currently in an inconvenient area and causes traffic congestion. The situation is worsening as the number of stalls is on the increase. There are many improvements that need to be carried out in Sunnyvale Park. It is hoped that the town council will take the necessary steps to remedy the problems as soon as possible. The 30-kg reticulated python, also known as the batik python because of its body patterns, was later released back into the wild. Civil Defence officer, Lt. Muda Karim Hussin said the villagers alerted the unit after the snake caused a scare in the village on Sunday night. He said it took about an hour for the personnel to capture the python. ‘When we arrived here, we saw the snake heading towards the thick bush. We had to wait for an hour before our professionals managed to capture it,’ he added. According to the professionals, the snake had to be captured as it was dangerous and could swallow a goat or even a little child. The villagers were relieved that the snake had been caught and that there were no casualties or reports of property damage in the village. Lt. Muda Karim advised local villagers who encounter such snakes not to try and catch them on their own. They should instead call the professionals and monitor the whereabouts of the snake while waiting for help to arrive. We saw many logging tracks on the hill near Empangan Batu in Ulu Yam, which can only be seen from the top of a hill in Taman Selayang Mulia. According to a resident, illegal loggers seem very adept at dodging law enforcers and they move to another site when one is raided. For example, lorries carrying timber from an illegal logging area in Selayang Utara are sneaking out at night through the residential areas to evade the authorities. Another resident, who lives near the site, said he used to see huge 16-wheeler lorries laden with timber emerging from the jungle at night opposite his house. However, he said that now all is quiet. He suspects that the lorries are using a different route and, as evidence, he pointed to the logging track visible on the hill. There were altogether 24 members who participated in the excursion. We left Kuala Lumpur at 8.00 a.m., armed with our camping gear, food, a first- aid kit and plenty of water. We took a bus to Lumut and then took the ferry across to the island. We arrived at the island at 3.00 p.m. Our team leader, Halim Radzi, instructed us to locate a suitable spot on the beach to set up our camp. We spent two hours getting settled in and then spent the rest of the evening swimming. In the evening we built a campfire and cooked dinner. The next day, we all went jungle trekking and explored the island. We located a waterfall where we decided to have a picnic. In the afternoon we slowly made our way back to camp and spent the rest of the evening swimming and playing beach volleyball. The next day, we woke up early and began packing. We made sure that we cleaned up the campsite before leaving. We headed to the jetty and boarded the ferry to Lumut. We then took the bus back to Kuala Lumpur. It was indeed an enjoyable trip. V. Lingam, 60, and his grandson, M. Gunaseelan, 12, were in a lorry heading to a temple in Section 2, South Estate, Carey Island, when the bees attacked them at 5.30 p.m. yesterday. Gunaseelan said the windows of the lorry were wound down and the bees suddenly flew in. ‘When we saw the swarm of bees enter the lorry, my grandfather stopped the lorry and we both hastily got out.’ ‘My grandfather grabbed me and shoved me back into the lorry, and I wound up the windows,’ he added. Gunaseelan said he saw the bees attacking his grandfather, but he was powerless to do anything. He said that some nearby residents heard their shouts and a man took off his shirt and set it on fire, causing the bees to fly away. Both Lingam and Gunaseelan suffered stings on their bodies and were rushed to the Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital in Klang. Lingam was pronounced dead on arrival. A simple one would be a heart-shaped hanging ornament. The items you will need are heavy cardboard, strong glue, coloured beads and of course your collection of seashells. First, cut the cardboard into the shape of a heart. Then, punch a hole at the top of the cardboard. Next, use a brush and spread glue all over the cardboard. Allow the cardboard to dry completely. Next, glue on your seashells one by one on the cardboard. Arrange them carefully to ensure that there are minimal gaps in between the seashells. Take care not to cover the punched hole on the cardboard. Once you have covered the entire cardboard with seashells, use the coloured beads to fill in the gaps in between the seashells so that the cardboard is completely covered. You may also use sand to give it a more natural look. Allow your ornament to dry for at least a day. You may choose to repeat the process on the other side of the cardboard. Once the ornament is completely dry, slip a ribbon through the hole and hang it on a suitable place. Never cry over spilt milk . What we can do is to learn how to move forward.

For you, the milk hasn't been spilled yet! The time has come for you to seriously think about your future. How important your future is especially in this turbulent time, where more people are becoming jobless and even more people have nothing to eat on their plate.

As a student, your only job and responsibility is to become a better human being. Learn more to achieve more and you will be able to help a lot of people in the future. Here, we at Superprof are dedicated to help you in your journey.

In this article, we are going to cover the PT3 latest format, where to find PT3 past year papers, tips on answering essay papers and how PT3 is marked.

PT3 2021 Examination Latest Format

The top view of Malaysia examination hall

Do you know, nearly a decade ago, the Form 3 Assessment (PT3) wasn't known as what it is now? Before, the form 3 students sat for the Lower Secondary Examination (PMR).

Yes, the difference is between ‘Assessment’ and ‘Examination’. It looks the same right? But it isn’t. Assessment is done by the teacher throughout the year and the weightage for the marking is higher in the final PT3 Assessment Test for the overall mark. Besides, Assessment is also school based, meaning that your examination paper will be marked by your school teachers.

Meanwhile the Examination, just as it sounds, the student will sit for one final examination to mark the end of their lower secondary school journey. All the subject weightage falls in that one examination paper. So PMR was more exam oriented. Nonetheless, the exam paper will be marked externally by external markers just like how SPM is executed.

The good thing about this type of examination is that the students took the exam very seriously and were willing to go to all lengths to prove themselves worthy to choose any streams they would want to take in the higher secondary form.

Frankly, I can say that the PT3 assessment test has been taken lightly by the majority of parents and students. Most of the instrument tests haven't been done and it takes a toll on the teachers to search for students who are falling behind. However, that is the best thing about PT3, ‘No students are left behind’. Teachers can recognize weak students early on and will focus more on them.

Throughout the year of the implementation of PT3 in 2014, MOE has made several revisions on the way the assessment is done. In 2019, another revision has been made and supposedly the 2020 PT3 candidate should be the first to sit for the test.

The changes made recently is more towards the administration of PT3. This time, schools are responsible to make the instruments instead of it being given by MOE like the years before. This is a good shift as the teacher can tailor the instruments according to their student’s level.

PT3 English Examination Marking Scheme

Student doing listening test

The interesting part of the latest PT3 assessment test is that MOE has aligned themselves with The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) measuring system.

If you haven’t heard about CEFR before, this measuring system has been adapted in most of the international English as Second Language standard scores. Therefore, Malaysia has moved one step forward to be on par with all other international English levels.

Previously, there were only 2 tests to sit for in the English subjects – Written test (Writing & Reading Comprehension) and Oral Test. Today you’ll only be sitting in 1 test but with 4 different papers.

The papers are as follows:-

  • Paper 1 – Reading
  • Paper 2- Essay
  • Paper 3 – Speaking
  • Paper 4 – Listening

Quite similar right? The difference is in the weightage of each paper in which the total scores are divided equally to 25%. So, the assessment is more comprehensive than before. Today, we can focus on 4 important types of linguistic properties.

Previously, PMR students will only focus on their reading and writing. So their speaking and listening skills are rather low. Forward to today, I can see that most of the Generation Z are able to speak up their mind in English!

There are more tips on scoring PT3 papers following the latest PT3 Marking Scheme .

PT3 English Essay Writing Tips and Format

Practice makes perfect writing

I realized with the latest format in Malaysia English as Second Language, Bahasa Inggeris in PT3, writing isn’t one of the favourite papers to answer. Yes, I admit that even before, writing was the hardest part of the English Examination.

However, with the previous format, we don't have any choice than to score writing as the weightage is 50% of the overall marks. Today, with the division of English subjects into 4 papers with the equal weightage of 25%, students are able to at least focus on their best 3 papers to pass the English subjects. The probability to get at least 75% is high.

But should we neglect the essay writing? Obviously NOT! Writing is also one of the core principles in English. Without the ability to write, your English skills won’t make it for further studies or for any kind of job which requires fluency in English.

Fret not, compared to before, English writing papers are not as flowery as they used to be. Today, straightforward writing is the best way to score. Why the flowery and why the changes?

As you may know, the Malay Language is poetic, soft and flowery (not straight to the point). The previous format has assimilated Malay Language into English Language style of writing. Therefore, since MOE has changed and aligned the format to follow the international standard, we should also follow the international style of writing.

Here Superprof has identified a few tips to follow while answering PT3 Essay Writing .

  • Every answer and point given should be simple and easy to understand
  • Avoid using excessive jargon and complicated words
  • Speak more English with your peers so you can adapt to use natural words and sentences in your essay
  • Read more books to increase your vocabularies
  • Don't rush when writing and maintain a good and easy to read handwriting
  • Learn from experts

PT3 Past Year Papers and References

Past year papers are mostly sought by students nearing the examination. It is proven to help a lot of them in their answering skills and building up confidence. In contrast to those who never even wonder what the test paper looks like or the structure of the exam, they won’t find it hard or difficult to answer.

“To succeed, you must first improve, to improve, you must first practice, to practice, you must first learn, to learn, you must first fail!” -Wesley Woo

So here, Superprof will help you out in finding the best PT3 Past Year Papers and References .

First you should know how to search for it.

  • Check out our Ministry of Education’s website to know any updates relating to the examination.
  • Do not simply take papers or questions from non-reputable websites as your stepping stone to success. It might backfire on you as they might not use the latest format and not give you the best questions to focus for your test.
  • Getting a book from a reputable publisher is the best way to get the best model questions. Most of the publishing companies hire experienced teachers and some of them have experience in compiling or making exam papers.
  • Check out Superprof blog for more downloadable papers and tips.

It is understandable that more and more of us opt to get free-references on the net. However, one thing you should be aware of is that some of the non-reputable websites contain viruses, excessive marketing pop-up, download our data without consent and many more.

Therefore, never fall victim to this kind of trap.

Do you know Superprof is one of the best education platforms globally? We have more than a million teachers available for any online or face-to-face tutoring. You can easily choose your own favourite tutor.

The rate is also affordable compared to the market price in tuition centres and other private tutoring in Malaysia. Our rate starts as low as RM30 per hour! Yes this is real! Most of our tutors are the best in their field.

One of the best investments you can make for your future is EDUCATION . Remember, examination is just one way to measure your knowledge and skills in certain subjects. Thus, only by achieving good results can you pave your future easily and you’ll be able to achieve greater things earlier than the rest of your peers.

Essay on School Trip

Students are often asked to write an essay on School Trip in their schools and colleges. And if you’re also looking for the same, we have created 100-word, 250-word, and 500-word essays on the topic.

Let’s take a look…

100 Words Essay on School Trip

The excitement of a school trip.

A school trip is an exciting event for students. It’s a chance to learn new things outside the classroom. It’s also a fun way to bond with classmates.

Learning Through Experience

Building friendships.

School trips also help us build stronger friendships. We share unique experiences, creating memories that last a lifetime.

In conclusion, school trips are a valuable part of education. They offer learning, fun, and friendship.

250 Words Essay on School Trip

The essence of school trips.

School trips are an integral part of educational life, offering a unique blend of learning and recreation. They provide a platform for students to interact outside the confines of their classrooms, fostering a holistic development that extends beyond academic excellence.

Academic Impact

School trips are not just recreational jaunts; they are tailored to complement the curriculum. Visiting museums, science centers, or historical monuments, students can vividly understand and internalize concepts that may seem abstract in textbooks. This experiential learning aids in the retention of knowledge and cultivates a love for learning.

Social Development

School trips also stimulate social growth. Students interact with peers and teachers in a casual setting, promoting bonding and camaraderie. They learn to respect diversity, adapt to new environments, and develop leadership qualities. These experiences are vital in shaping their social skills and emotional intelligence.

Personal Growth

On school trips, students step out of their comfort zones, facing challenges that require problem-solving and decision-making skills. These experiences foster independence and resilience, which are crucial life skills.

500 Words Essay on School Trip

School trips, also known as educational tours, are a crucial part of the educational curriculum, offering a practical approach to learning that extends beyond the traditional classroom setting. They provide students with a unique opportunity to explore new environments, engage in hands-on learning, and gain exposure to different cultures and lifestyles.

Experiential Learning

One of the primary benefits of school trips is the experiential learning they offer. These trips allow students to interact with the real world, applying the theoretical knowledge they have acquired in the classroom. For instance, a visit to a historical monument brings history lessons to life, while a trip to a science museum can make complex scientific concepts more understandable. Thus, school trips foster a deeper understanding of subjects, making learning more interesting and effective.

Broadening Horizons

School trips also serve to broaden students’ horizons. They expose students to different environments, cultures, and ways of life, thereby promoting a sense of appreciation and understanding for diversity. This exposure can help students develop a more global perspective, encouraging them to think critically about various social, cultural, and environmental issues.

Developing Social Skills

Boosting independence.

School trips also play a crucial role in fostering independence among students. Away from the comfort of their homes and regular routines, students learn to manage themselves, make decisions, and take responsibility for their actions. This newfound independence can boost their confidence and self-esteem, preparing them for future challenges.

teacher , can in know how to use progressive tence in essay ???

a school trip essay pt3

The progressive form is a verb tense used to show an ongoing action in progress at some point in time. It shows an action still in progress. Verbs can appear in any one of three progressive tenses: present progressive, past progressive, and future progressive. The verbs in the progressive form use a form of "to be" + the present participle (an -ing verb). (It is the form of the helping verb that indicates the tense.) Example Present Progressive: I am eating. Past Progressive: He was writing. Future Progressive: She will be working. Present Perfect Progressive: I have been sleeping. Past Perfect Progressive: They had been eating. Future Perfect Progressive: She will have been coming.

Essay On A Visit To A Tourist Place

  • Post category: Essay
  • Reading time: 5 mins read

Our school had organized a trip to a tourist place in a mountainous region during the summer vacation . The trip was for 15 days and we were going to Shimla, Kullu, and Manali. Everyone was eager and excited to go there. Our joy knew no bounds, Himachal Pradesh is indeed an attraction for everybody.

We left Pune and traveled to Delhi by train. We traveled from Delhi by bus and reached Shimla in the morning . We went to the hotel where our rooms were reserved. We organized our luggage, took a bath, and got ready for sightseeing. Shimla is the summer capital of Himachal Pradesh. We first visited the palace of Maharaja of Patiyala which has now been converted into a hotel. It has the world’s highest cricket ground.

We also visited an old Golf course situated a few kilometers away from Shimla. On our way, we saw houses with red roofs, dense green forests of deodar. vast meadows of flowers, zigzag roads, and snow-clad mountains. On one side of the road was river Beas, running swiftly. Its rippling sound was very melodious. It was a grand feast to our hungry eyes.

Then we reached Kullu and Manali. This is called heaven on earth. The city is surrounded by snow-clad mountains. There were rose plants bearing a bunch of flowers in every nook and corner of the city. The atmosphere was very pleasant. A short distance from there is Sundarnagar, where there is a lake formed by carving the mountain. The beauty of this mountain mesmerized us. We also visited a temple of Bhimas’s wife and Ghatotkachas mother Hidimba there. We saw the green fields, apple orchards, beautiful women, and girls in colorful dresses. We also visited a sweater-making factory. Many of us bought sweaters and shawls from there.

There is one more center of attraction in Himachal Pradesh, Dalhousie. Its untouched beauty, the terraced fields, and the dense green forests attract tourists. We grabbed the opportunity of observing Khajihaar Lake. We were thrilled to see wild animals like leopards, deer here. The mountains were simply enchanting.

Entire Himachal Pradesh is like heaven. One’s life is in vain who hasn’t taken this tour. Its beauty cannot be just written or explained, it has to be experienced.

On previous holidays, My family and I have been travelling to the island of Langkawi. We were there for 4 days and 3 nights. Before we were on holiday there, my mom and dad were on vacation Kedah first. When they had been there, me and my other family members went to vacation on the island of Langkawi. We arrived in island in the evening. We did not check in the hotel first, but we went to our first destinations is Cable Car. The cable car has three stops destination that we had to through. It’s quite scary when we rode it. We had use the cable car to climbing up and down.

After we went to Cable Car, we rested ourselves and pray at hotel. In night, we dinner together at Telaga Seafood Restaurant. This restaurant provide Westerns food, Arabian food and Malay food. We ate a lot of food that my parents ordering to us. After we finished our dinner, we take a chance to window shopping and walking at row of shops that have in there. A lot of shops, sell, souvenirs, clothes, bag and many things that can we buy to give to other people. But in first day , we just survey and window shopping before we decide to buy it.

In second day, we breakfast at the hotel and started our journey at Langkawi Island. My sister had already booking our boat to go around in Langkawi Island. But in we also went to swimming at Private Island. This island we can swimming but have a time that we can swim at there. In evening, we’re going to “Dayang Bunting Island” there’s is the most beautiful island in the Langkawi Island.

In third day, my sister already go to the shopping and bought the things that she wanted give to her friends. At Langkawi Island, the price of the chocolate, clothes and souviners is cheaper and there have duty shop that we can bought chocolate, cigarette and perfume. But for me, i just bought some of chocolate for my friends and my ownself. There’s so many brand of chocolate that we can buy it at there and for those who really likes the chocolate surely cannot decide what type of chocolate they want to buy it. Our next destination is going to factory of sea cucumber and at there we can see how the process see cucumber was made.

On the last day, before we’re going to go back home we decide to lunch at Langkawi Island because want to ate at “Rojak Hafiz”. Most of people said ” Rojak Hafiz” is the most famous rojak stall at Langkawi Island and taste of rojak was supper awesome and source of the rojak is so delicious. After all of us done with lunch, we rushed to the jetty and our tickets at 3:30p.m . This is the most best ever family trip in my life eventhough my parents didn’t bring us to overseas for enjoy our holidays but for me the most important things is when my family can give some space and spend their times to made this family trip succesful.
