Two Courses Simultaneously from IGNOU Possible?

• Look up your regional center’s email address.
• In the email body, list all the details you’ve mentioned on the first page of your assignment.
• Attach the PDF of your assignment and send it to the respective Regional Centre’s email address. Once your email is sent, you should receive an acknowledgment. If you don’t receive an acknowledgment within a few hours, check if the regional portal has shared a Google Forms link and submit your assignment there as well.

How To Calculate Percentage in IGNOU?

To calculate your IGNOU percentage, you need to consider both your assignment marks and theory exam marks, each carrying a specific weightage. Assignments hold 30% weightage, and the theory exams (term-end examination) constitute 70% of the total marks. Here’s how you can calculate it:

Step-by-step calculation:

• Assignments (30% Weightage) : After you receive your assignment marks, multiply each by 0.30 (or 30%) to calculate the weighted assignment score for each subject.
• Term-end Examination (70% Weightage) : Once you have your theory (term-end examination) marks, multiply each by 0.70 (or 70%) to get the weighted theory score for each subject.
• Total Score for Each Subject : Add the weighted assignment score and weighted theory score for each subject to get the total subject score.

• Overall Percentage : To get the overall percentage, divide the sum of the total scores by the number of subjects, and then multiply by 100. In this case, the overall percentage would be (295.8/5)*100 = 59.16%.

How To Change IGNOU Subject/Medium/Course?

To change your subject, medium, or course in IGNOU (Indira Gandhi National Open University) , follow these steps:

Subject or Optional Changes :

• Request the change within 30 days from the receipt of the first set of study material.
• Pay the required fees: For undergraduate courses, it’s Rs.350 per 2 or 4 credit course and Rs.700 per 6 or 8 credit course. For master’s degree courses, the fees are Rs.600 per 2 or 4 credit course and Rs.1200 per 6 or 8 credit course.

Medium Changes :

• Request a change of medium within 30 days from the receipt of the first lot of study material in the first year only.
• Pay the required fees: For undergraduate courses, it’s Rs.350 and Rs.350 per 2 or 4 credit course and Rs.700 per 6 or 8 credit course. For master’s degree courses, the fees are Rs.350 and Rs.600 per 2 or 4 credit course and Rs.1200 per 6 or 8 credit course.

All requests for changes must be directed to the Regional Director of the concerned Regional Centre. Make your payment via a Demand Draft in favor of IGNOU, payable at the concerned Regional Centre.

After your application for change has been submitted, you can track its status on the IGNOU Admission Status page using your Enrollment Number.

How To Change IGNOU Regional or Study Centre

Changing your Regional or Study Centre in IGNOU (Indira Gandhi National Open University) involves a specific process. Here’s how you can do it:

To Change Your Study Centre :

• Receive the Proforma : After you’ve been admitted to IGNOU, you’ll receive a printed proforma along with the Program Guide.
• Fill in the Proforma : Complete the proforma with the necessary details. This will include your request to change your study centre.
• Send the Proforma : Mail the filled proforma to the Regional Director at your current Regional Centre.

• Get a No Objection Certificate : If your program includes practical subjects, you must get a “No Objection Certificate” from both your current Regional Centre and the Study Centre where you wish to transfer.
• Fee Payment : If you’re transferring from Air Force/Navy/Army Regional Centre to another Regional Centre, you need to pay the fee-share amount to the new Regional Centre. If you shift your Regional Centre at the start of the program session, you’ll also need to pay the respective program fee for that session at the new Regional Centre.
• International Transfers : Transfers to a foreign study centre are permitted only after six months of registration or after submission of assignments for the first year or semester for courses of one year or more duration.

There are two systems of programs at IGNOU: semester and year. If you are taking exams twice a year, like for courses like BCA, MCA, MBA, B.Com, and M.Co, then you are in a semester program. On the other hand, if you appear in exams only once a year, then you are in an annual program. So, if your course is annual, you must submit assignments once a year, and if your program is semester-based, you must submit assignments twice a year. You must log into your admissions portal to know if your program is full-year or half-year.

The submission of assignments for IGNOU in 2024 varies depending on the program and the regional center. Please go to the official website of your faculty or get in touch with them directly for more particular instructions. The deadline for exams in June falls in March, while those for exams in December fall in December. You have the option of submitting your IGNOU assignments online through regional center portals, emailing, or dropped off at your study center. Ensure assignments are handwritten, scanned as PDFs, and include your name, enrollment number, course code, and program code. Follow strict submission formats and deadlines to avoid penalties. Get to Know About Offline Submission

The first way to submit your assignment in IGNOU is by using the offline mode. You simply need to go to your study center to hand them directly the assignment. You can easily find the study center address on your IGNOU ID Card and on the registration portal.

Concern: If the study center is far away from your place and you are unable to go there, then you can use the courier service. To avail of this service you first need to contact your study center and request them to allow you to post the assignment to their office address. Follow the exact instructions while posting the assignment at their address.

Learn About Online Submission

A few of the study centers also provide the facility to online submit your assignments. For that, you just need to adhere to the following steps. You will only get to avail of this facility if your regional center is facilitating this.

• Go to the official regional center of the IGNOU.
• Open the News and Announcement Section.
• Then tap on the assignment Submission link.
• Finally, follow the instructions to upload your assignment successfully.

Your regional center might also offer you to submit your assignments via Google Forms. In that case, follow the given steps.

How to Submit Your IGNOU Assignment Via Google Forms

• Click on the link to open the Google Form.
• Sign In using the relevant ID and password and start filing the form.
• Enter the name of your regional center and follow other instructions to upload the PDF File.

Steps to Submit Your IGNOU Assignment Via Email Address

There is also a possibility that your study center may allow you to send your assignments via email. In that case, you need to go through the given steps to submit your assignments.

• Firstly, draft an email that you need to send along with essential details like name, enrollment number, program study center code, and more.
• Then attach your scanned PDF files to it you want to send.
• Lastly, when you are done with the necessary steps, send the mail to the designated email address.

Mandatory Instructions for Submitting Assignments

Keep in mind following instructions before submitting the assignments.

• Only assignments that you write by hand will be accepted, not ones you type on a computer. PDFs should be clear and visible after you scan them, otherwise, it can lead to rejection.
• The PDF file of your assignment should not be larger than 100 MB. 
• Make sure to include a front page and the question paper with each assignment. Name the PDF file according to the instructions from your regional center.
• Submit the assignments only once.
• Don’t put a password or access permission on your PDFs. If you do, it can cause rejection of the assignments.

To know the assignment status, follow the given steps. Open the IGNOU website. Tap on the Student Zone tab. Choose the Results option. Now, look for the Assignment Status option. Provide your enrollment number along with the program code. Finally, tap submit to view the assignment status.

IGNOU June 2024 TEE: Assignment submission deadline extended till May 31

Ignou assignment's last date 2024 has been extended for odl and online programmes for the june tee session. the university will now accept assignments (both hard copy and soft copy) till may 31, 2024..

IGNOU TEE assignment submission 2024: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the assignment submission last date for ODL and online courses. Now, students can submit their assignments both in soft and hard copies by May 31.

Candidates enrolled in ODL, online programmes, GOAL, and EVBB for the June 2024 TEE can submit their projects, dissertations, practical files, and internship reports online at the official website – ignou.ac.in,  the open university said in an official notification.

However, students are suggested to submit the assignment before the last date to avoid last minute rush. Students must note that the IGNOU assignment submission last date 2024 is common for all programmes irrespective of admission year, mode or programme. 

Candidates are required to attach a copy of the fee receipt with the project report at the time of submission of hardcopy or by uploading it to the online portal. 

IGNOU June TEE 2024: Steps for assignment submission

Step 1: Go to the official website – ignou.ac.in

Step 2: Navigate to the assignment submission link available on the homepage

Step 3: Login using the necessary credentials in the designated field

Step 4: Upload the scanned assignment with the respective code

Step 5: Submit the assignment

Step 6: Students are advised to take a screenshot of the assignment submission receipt for further reference

“With the approval of the competent authority, the last date for submission of assignments (both in hard copy and soft copy) for term end examination, June 2024 for both ODL and online programmes, GOAL and EVBB has been extended up to May 31,” read the notification. 

The IGNOU has stared the fresh admission cycle for undergraduate, postgraduate, and other programmes for the July 24 academic year. The last date to apply for the various programmes at IGNOU is June 30. The university offers certificates, diplomas, advanced diplomas, postgraduate diplomas, and degrees. The University is offering more than 290 UG, PG, PG diploma, diploma, certificate and awareness programmes through ODL and online mode.

Sir, does the last date for submission of assignment of bcom(a&f) has been extended for june 2019 exams?

I have registered for BCOM A&F via online admission. While filling the exam form for it only shows three subjects FEG2, BSHF101 and BEGF101. But I have also registered for AED1,BEGE104 and ECO13. Please let me know why these three courses are not being shown in the form.

Sir I am CA student and doing BCOM AF from ignou. Till date no assignment uploaded on the Site given by ignou for Assignments. sir , i have registered for july 2018-2019 session bcom a and f but upto now i have not received the books i contacted ignou but they told they have dispatched but we got only two subject books so kindly consider my issue
