I respect all the teachers. But I like Shri R. Tiwari the most. He is my favourite teacher. He is an ideal teacher. He is a young man of 34 years. He is an M.Sc., B.Ed. He belongs to a noble family. He is very sweet and learned. He teaches us Mathematics. He is our class-incharge.
His way of teaching is very simple. He explains everything very clearly. He is the master of his subject. He develops a taste for reading and writing. He does not beat the weak students. Every student does his homework happily. All the students respect him very much. He has many good habits. He is an early bird. He goes out for a walk daily. He takes exercise regularly. He prays to God daily. He puts on neat and clean clothes. ‘Simple living and high thinking’ is the motto of his life. He is never late for school. He is tall, strong, healthy and handsome. He is active and smart. He is a good speaker and sportsman. After the school time he plays with us. He is a social worker. He always helps the poor and the needy. He is very polite. The shops are well decorated. There is great rush at the sweets’ and toys’ shops. People buy sweets and toys. They send sweets and presents to their friends and relatives. At night the scene is very beautiful. The bazaars, shops and houses are lit with tiny bulbs. Earthen lamps (Diyas) and candles are in rows on the roofs of houses. Children enjoy fire works and crocker. Children look very happy on this day. The Goddess Laxmi is worshiped at night. But some people gamble on the day to try their luck. It is very bad. It must be stopped. Diwali is a festival of great rejoicings. So it should be celebrated joyfully.
Computer A Wonderful Invention
Computer is one of the wonderful inventions of Sir Charles Babbage who is known as the father of computer. In England Charles Babbage developed a machine to perform complex calculations in1833. The first electronic computer came into existence in 1943. Computer has changed the life style of man. It plays a vital role in every field. In business, computers are used for preparing pay rolls, billing, invoicing, sorting, stock and inventory control etc. Special software packages have been developed which are particularly suitable for commercial and business applications.
In education, computers are used for maintaining records of attendance and fees, for preparing merit lists, date sheets and time tables etc. In banks computers are used for keeping record of each customer and various information such as current balances, deposits, overdrafts, interest charges etc. In hospitals computers are used for maintaining records of drugs, storing, condition of patients, details of tests, clinical reports and for preparing hospital budgets. Computers are used for regulating air, railway, water and surface transportation. Computer is used in the field of education and entertainment. We can see movies on it. We can also use it as a music player. In the coming years man will become totally dependents on the computer. Hence computer is very important for all of us.
If I Win a Lottery Prize
I want to earn money through hard work when I grow up. However, I know how I would use the money if I win a lottery prize, say, of 5 lakh rupees. First, I would give my friends and relatives a tea party. The menu would consist of the choicest sweets. Second, I would buy the best of clothes for my parents, brothers, sisters and myself. Third, I would buy a scooter, for it takes me a lot of time to travel on a cycle. Fourth, I would set up a library of my own. This would consist of the most interesting books for children. The boys and girls of my locality would be free to borrow these books and read them. All this would cost me about thirty thousand rupees.
I would deposit one lakh in a post office under some useful saving scheme. This would yield me the necessary funds for my higher education. Sixth, I would give the remaining amount to my parents so that they may build a house. At present, they do no have enough money to build one. We have been living in rented houses all our lives. Some landlords have been very good while others have been painfully bad. So we feel that there is nothing like having one’s own house. Well all these plans depend upon my winning a lottery prize!

Once upon a time in a lush forest, a clever crow found a piece of cheese. Proudly, he flew to a high branch, ready to enjoy his prize. A hungry fox, spying on the crow and the cheese, hatched a plan. Approaching with flattery, the fox praised the crow’s melodious voice and requested a song. Pleased by the admiration, the crow eagerly opened his beak, and alas, the cheese fell to the ground. Games and sports are very important for us. Life is not all study and work. Recreation is also necessary. Games give energy to our bodies and freshness to our minds. Games teach us the principle of discipline and cooperation. They are very important for our health. They give us good exercise. They make our bodies strong. The players play with a team spirit. They learn to live together and in the discipline. Games also teach us the spirit of competition. They tell us that life means going farther and farther ahead. Those who do not work hard, remain behind. But those who work hard and with discipline, win glory. Thus games are very essential for our life.

LIFE OF A FARMER
A farmer occupies an important place in India. Farming is the most important profession in our country. A farmer works hard and produces food for the countrymen. Apart from food, cotton, sugar and some other useful things are also produced by the farmers. The Indian farmer leads a poor life. He works from morning till evening. Still, he is able to make both ends meet with difficulty. He ploughs the field, sows seeds, waters the crops and looks after them in rain and sunshine. He lives in poor and dirty conditions. He is generally under debt. But his condition has changed after the independence of the country. Now he has tube-wells, tractors, good seeds and other facilities. He uses good insecticides and pesticides. He can get loan from the bank. He is no longer under the debt of the money-lender. In short, a farmer is the backbone of the Indian economy.

A PICNIC PARTY
Last Sunday, we went on a picnic. We went to Badkhal Lake. This lake is situated near Faridabad. This is a natural lake among rocks. It is very deep and wide. The Haryana government has developed the lake and the area around it into a fine picnic spot. I went to the lake with my friends. There is the facility of boating. We took three boats and did a lot of boating on the lake. One of my friends had a good camera with him. He took our snaps in various poses. There is a very good restaurant on the bank of this lake. This is run by the tourist department of Haryana government. At noon we took our meals at the restaurant. Then we took rest on the lawns. A friend of mine sang songs. I sang a ghazal. After some time we took a walk around the lake. In the evening we came back. I will never forget that pleasant picnic on the banks of Badkhal Lake.

Yesterday my nephew asked me to buy a toy for him. l took him to a big and famous toy shop in our city. There were all kinds of toys in the shop. The shop had many sections and there were different types of toys in each section. In one section there were toys for very small children or infants. These were the toys which produced musical sounds on shaking them. Some of these moved when they were wound. One section of the shop had toy animals. There were teddy bears, small horses, dogs, camels and other toy animals. Another section sold costly electronic toys. These toys operated with a battery. There was a railway engine which gave a whistle, threw light and moved very fast when operated. The main feature of this engine was its electronic eye. If there was a bather on the way, the engine automatically turned to the left. I purchased a few toys for my nephew and came out.

Last month, I celebrated my 16th birthday. It was celebrated with pomp and show. The big drawing room of our house was decorated beautifully. My father had invited all his close friends. I had invited all my class-fellows. Many families from our colony were invited. The birthday cake was big and beautifully made. Sixteen candles were put on it. These candles showed that it was my sixteenth birthday. I touched the feet of my parents and received their blessings. Then I blew out the sixteen candles one by one. All the guests shouted with joy, “Happy birthday to you.” Then I cut the birthday cake and distributed its small pieces among the guests. I got beautiful presents from my near and dear ones. My father had arranged an orchestra for this purpose. It presented a very good programme of music. In the end, the guests were given dinner. I will never forget my sixteenth birthday.

Story writing is an art. It is the oldest form of written composition. It is a work of imagination that is written in easily understandable grammatical structure. a short story is meant to be read in a single sitting and therefore it should be as direct and brief as possible.

Story Writing Class 7 Format:
A Notice should be written in the following format:
Main point related to story writing
- Title: the title of the story must be interesting and it should evoke curiosity.
- Planned and logical series of events must be reflected and the events should not deviate the story from its theme.
- There must be an interesting theme of the story which is the controlling idea of the story.
- The depiction of the characters must be interesting and convincing.
- Language of the story must suit the story. It should be as per the setting of the story.
- Moral of the story is a must

Answer: A farmer had five sons. They were strong and hardworking. But they always quarreled with one another. Sometimes, they even fought with one another. The farmer wanted his sons to stop quarreling and fighting. He wanted them to live in peace. Plain words of advice or rebuke did not have much effect on these young people.
The farmer always thought about what to do to keep his children united. One day he found an answer to his problem. So he called all his sons together. He showed them a bundle of sticks and said, “I want any of you to break these sticks without separating them from the bundle.” Each of the five sons tried one by one. They used their full strength and skill. But none of them could break the sticks.
Then the old man separated the sticks and gave each of them just a single to break. They could break the sticks easily.
The farmer said, “a single stick by itself is weak. It is strong as long as it is tied up in a bundle. Likewise, you will be strong if you are united. You will be weak if you are divided.”

Answer: In a grocer’s shop there lived many mice. There was plenty of food for them in the shop. They ate grains and dry fruits, bread and biscuits, jam and cheese.
The grocer suffered heavy losses because of the mice. He said to himself, “I must do something to get rid of the mice or some day they will be the end of me.”
One day the grocer brought a big, fat cat to the shop. Now the mice could not move about freely. Every day the cat would catch and kill some of them.
The mice were worried. They held a meeting. All of them said, “We must get rid of the cat some how.” But what could they do? They had no answer.
Then a smart mouse stood up and said, “The cat moves very softly and swiftly. she takes us unawares. We must tie a bell round her neck.”
Another mouse seconded him, “The bell will ring, when the cat moves. So it will be possible for us to keep at a safe distance from her.”
All the mice welcomed the suggestion with a loud cry of ‘Hurrah!
Then an old mouse stood up and said, “Stop this rejoicing. Can you tell me who will bell the cat?” And all of them quiet. They had no answer.

Here are Some Instances of Imaginative Writing:
The topic like the feelings and experiences of the sailor wrecked on the vast sea is imaginative writing . In these types of writing, the writer places himself in imagination in a position in which he doesn’t have any actual experience of that type.
Topics like “If I Were the prime minister” or “The Autobiography of a Horse” also fall under the category of imaginative writings/essays.
Writings are usually divided into two basic types:
- Imaginative/ Creative
Creative writing revolves around imagination, artistic skills, and the ability to figure out situations that are far from reality.
On the other hand, logical writings are very well structured and mostly deal with important topics by employing precise methodology.
The main goal of imaginative essays/writings is to make the reader enjoy them in an aesthetic sense. The aim of logical writing/essays is to discuss an issue or solve a definite problem.
