Course WorkThe course work for the Ph. D. will consist of 18 credits over a minimum of six months. - After being accepted to the Ph.D. degree program, each learner is expected to complete coursework for a period of one semester. Pre-Ph.D. training will be extended to the course work.
- The Ph.D. coursework will be available on a credit basis. The course will be worth a total of 18 credits. The student must complete 18 credits in a maximum of three semesters.
- Each course would have a credit score of 6.
- Concerned guide/s will be in charge of course work.
- There will not be any standardized classroom instruction, but the concerned teacher(s) engaged in directing may receive a proportionate remission, as determined by the appropriate authority from time to time.
Course analysis and assessment methods: - The interested and appropriate faculty of the research center will be responsible for continuous review of all theory courses for Ph.D. course work. Internal evaluations will be weighted at 40%, and external evaluations will be weighted at 60%. It may include homework, assessments in class, case studies, or a lecture.
- The learner's contribution in collecting reference material, understanding the topic of the seminar work, and ability to answer questions will be weighted at 30%, presentation of the seminar and ability to answer questions will be weighted at 50%, and punctuality, enthusiasm, and aptitude of the student in preparing the seminar will be weighted at 30%.
