BRAIN Foundation Aims & Vision
Our mission is to support translational research that will lead to the development of FDA-approved treatments and an improved standard of care for co-morbidities in individuals with autism.
Our vision is health, independence, and well-being for every person on the planet with neurological conditions, including Autism Spectrum Disorder diagnosis.
BRAIN Foundation
UPCOMING: Synchrony 2025
Premier annual conference on translational research in autism
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is the fastest growing developmental disability – 1 in 36 children is diagnosed with autism in the US, and larger numbers have speech and language impairments, learning difficulties, and other related impairments.
Yet, there are only two FDA approved treatments for autism, both addressing only a narrow scope of surface symptoms.
This needs to change.
In addition...
Most children and adults with autism suffer various co-occurring medical conditions, significantly affecting their quality of life. Since many of them cannot communicate effectively or self-advocate, and clinician awareness is very low, these conditions often remain undiagnosed and untreated.
2.5 million dollars granted to date for autism research
Medical research centers with autism focus supported to date, groundbreaking talks from world's top researchers and clinicians, attendees at synchrony, the largest symposia on autism research.
Dear Brain Foundation: Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything you do to give kiddos like Lukas another chance, and us parents hope. We are in awe of everything that you do every day, and hope you don’t stop any time soon. Love, The Arabadzic Family
The venue, people and events were top-notch. If they do it again, I would highly encourage those interested in learning first-hand about emerging autism research and clinical trials to attend this valuable event.
