Types of Education

We can divide the education system into 3 types; formal, informal and non-formal education. What we learn from school, colleges or universities gives us formal education. Informal education can be earned throughout our life. It doesn’t follow any specific syllabus or time table.

Learning informal education is endless and we continue to learn it as our lives go on. Non-formal education is often used interchangeably with terms such as community education, adult education, continuing education, and second-chance education.

1 Minute Speech on the Importance of Value Education In English

A very good morning to one and all present here. Today, I’ll be giving a short speech on the topic of the importance of value education.

Value education, simply put, is educating people, especially students and children. Very similar to moral education in nature, it is often taken to mean the same. However, value education is slightly different wherein it aims to educate about important life values, which includes, but is not restricted to morality like in moral education.

Value education, as said before, is important as it is integral to teach students, especially young ones about life values so as to better equip them to face life as they grow up to become adults. By educating on values such as citizenship, equality on the basis of gender, race, and caste, and critical problem-solving skills, value education helps mold individuals to become better for the future.

Nowadays, given its importance, value education is mandatorily taught in schools and colleges as a subject of significance.

Thank you.

Speech on Education

Speech on Education: When Dr. BR Ambedkar said “Education is something which ought to be brought within the reach of everyone”, he was highlighting the importance of education for mankind. He believed that education plays a pivotal role in improving the quality of life and uplifting the downtrodden. A person with access to formal education can significantly contribute to the development of her/their/his society and country. This thought resonates in the statement “A person who is awakened knows what is best for him/her, knows the difference between right and wrong and that is when he is known as educated.” by Janardan Waghmare, former Rajya Sabha Member of the Indian Parliament.

2 Minute Speech on Education in English

Good morning fellow students, teachers, and other faculty members. Today, I am standing before you to present a speech on education.

We all know that education is the magic pill to personal and professional success. To acknowledge the significance of education in our lives, let us first understand the definition of education. Education is learning new things, unlearning wrong information, and exploring the world around us. Therefore, it is a guiding light that helps us become better versions of ourselves.

Our learning process begins at home with our parents and family members. Then we enter the formal education system in school. Our school is the most significant place where the magic of education happens. In our school, our teachers are like magicians who guide us through the wonders of learning. They help us understand numbers, explore words, unearth history, experiment with the mysteries of science, and explore the world around us.

Knowing how pivotal education is important for us, we cannot imagine a world without education. If there is no learning in our lives, we will not be able to read, write, or communicate effectively. Thus, we can safely say that education arms us with the power to share ideas, understand society, and express ourselves. Thus, it helps us to become good citizens who contribute to our country’s growth.

Also, education helps us become kind and respect others. It also encourages us to become effective team members. These values shape us into empathetic and responsible humans. As we learn, we not only gain knowledge but also develop the skills to face the world with confidence.

We must remember that education is a privilege. Therefore, we must make the most of it. So, let us appreciate our educational institutions, teachers, and learning opportunities. Therefore, we must embrace all the possibilities that education opens for us.

With this, I come to the end of my speech. I thank you all for listening and being patient.

Speech on Education

Being educated is one of the most crucial things in every individual’s life. Education is not just accumulating information but gaining knowledge that would help you to think logically and make the right decisions at a time when they should be made. This article provides you with a gist of the importance of education and sample speeches on education that would guide you to write one on your own.

Table of Contents

Education – how important is it, 1-minute speech on education, 2-minute speech on education and its importance, faqs on education.

‘A little learning is a dangerous thing’. These words by Alexander Pope are so meaningful. Learning should always be complete. No matter what your line of interest might be, knowing just a tad will not help one in any way. The modern age is an age of specialisation. In every field, we need specialists to point us in the right direction. Here, you will learn a lot more about education and how to make a speech on education as appealing and interesting as possible.

According to Horace Mann, ‘A human being is not in any proper sense a human being till he is educated’. An educated individual always knows his manners and behaves gently in public as well as in private scenarios. Education does not just mean learning about all the different subjects and knowing everything up to date. An individual is said to be educated when they are able to apply all that they have learnt in their personal and professional lives effectively and in the best interest of everyone around. So try not to overload yourself with information but try to comprehend what you learn well and put it to great use.

Man has made remarkable progress in the field of science and technology. We have huge industrial units, and we manufacture ships, aeroplanes, trains and even rockets – all evidence of how far we have grown as an educated nation. However, it is not just scientific knowledge that gives manpower. There is spiritual knowledge and the knowledge about oneself, which is also equally important to make oneself a complete human being.

What is as vital as gaining knowledge is that the knowledge you possess should be used only for constructive purposes and for the welfare of one’s fellow human beings and in no way to harm anyone, no matter what. Never use knowledge to one’s advantage. For instance, there is this growing buzz to master the art of ethical hacking. Anything has a good and bad side. An individual who learns hacking can use it for right and wrong purposes. It is up to the individual to decide which side one wants to choose. I would say that even this choice that one has to make is part of one’s education. It shows one’s ability to think rationally and consciously before making a choice.

Education is not whole until the individual learns to respect oneself and others, and value every opinion. Nothing or no one is as attractive and enduring as a clever, focused and compassionate individual. In this world where people use education or educated people to their own advantage, let us try to be unassuming individuals who would put our education to good use, for the welfare of oneself and the whole humankind.

How do you start a speech on education?

Generally, a speech on any topic can be started with a quote related to the topic or with the history or an introduction to the topic. When you draft a speech on education, you can do the same. Starting with a story or even a joke would help get the attention of your audience.

How is education important in our life?

Education has always been mandatory for the intellectual survival of human beings. It is more so in the current scenario where the competition is huge in every field. An individual who does not choose to get himself/herself educated is definitely losing on what is most important to live his/her life happily and peacefully.

How can education change your life?

‘Knowledge is power’, so goes the saying. That is exactly what education gives you. Being educated will give you access to the intellectual world. Be it self learning or supervised learning, you would possess a lot more than you think you do. Every experience would teach you something that would change your life forever.

Speech on Value of Education

In the present times, everyone knows the value of education and this is the reason why so much stress has been laid down in educating the masses by opening more and more schools, universities as well as colleges. Considering how important the topic is and how often people are seen delivering a speech on the value of education, we have covered both short and long speeches on the topic. In fact, at school level too many students are being asked by their teachers either to address the topic or write a brief on it. So our short speech on value of education as well as long speech on value of education can help you in your assignments or any speech giving ceremony so that you can make an impact on your teacher or audience.

Value of Education Speech

Speech on the value of education 1.

Good Morning Respected Principal, Teachers and My Fellow Students!

I, Shashank Sharma, from Class-XII wish to deliver a speech on the Value of Education. You must have got amazed after seeing me on stage. Actually, there is no special, but profound reason behind this speech ceremony.

During summer vacations, I got the wonderful opportunity to associate myself with an NGO that teaches underprivileged children. There I realized how lucky we all are at being blessed with such a life where we get to pursue studies in one of the top schools of Delhi and get all the possible things we desire for. My experience there was quite moving and was greatly touched after seeing the miserable condition of those children. Not all the children as old as a 12-year old student could properly read and write. Unfortunately, they are deprived of quality education because they don’t have enough money to pay for their school fee. We always blame God for something or the other, but rarely do we thank God for giving us such a privileged life.

And, it’s only when the NGO with whom I am associated decided to empower those kids with quality education that they started seeing a positive change in their lives. So here I am in front of all the students to make you realize the value of education. Education is the most empowering tool for the mankind, especially for the deprived section of society who have nothing to fall back upon, but education to gain a prosperous existence. We should value education and study sincerely because it helps mankind grow into a fuller being and achieve prosperity of the nation and world at large. It helps us becoming civilized and differentiating ourselves from the barbaric beings. Education leads us from darkness to light and empowers us with such characteristic traits as rationality, tolerance, the power to pursue, etc.

However, it’s important to gain the right kind of education that benefits us and mankind as a whole and not something which leads society to the ultimate downfall. For instance, we are seeing how every country is trying to make themselves most powerful in the world and gain ascendancy over other nations. Every country wishes to arm itself with the world’s most potent weapons and atomic bombs so that it can subdue or terrorize other nations. So this is not the kind of knowledge that I am here referring to because it is devastating in nature and aims at destruction and war. The knowledge of weapons and atomic bombs is good as long as it is used for defending ourselves, but the moment it is used for unnecessary bloodbath and man slaughter; then the knowledge becomes corrupt.

So it is very important to make a fine distinction between the good knowledge and bad knowledge and make constant efforts to educate ourselves with the right of education so that we can bring people and nations together and uproot such evils as poverty, ignorance, unemployment, crime, etc completely from our society.

I hereby urge each and every student to not only study sincerely, but also give others the gift of knowledge.

Speech on the Value of Education 2

Respected Managerial Staff and My Dear Teachers – Warm Good Afternoon to all!

I, Krishna Avasthi, one of the founding members of our ABC NGO Group, welcome everyone to our community hall. As you all know that we have successfully completed a year and are now in the mode of expanding our group – this news gives me immense pleasure and I am sure to all of you present here. There is no doubt that we have given our sweat and blood to this NGO group and now our happiness knows no bounds after seeing it flourish.

Therefore, on this wonderful occasion I had a great desire to deliver a speech on the Value of Education because its education that drives us and makes us to give birth to such NGO groups as ours and educate the deprived masses. However, there are some loopholes in the way our NGO works and please allow me to point out those so that we can make ourselves better than what we were yesterday.

Initially, from teaching 10 students to now looking after the education of 50 children – it is clear that we are slowly and gradually bringing in more children so that many kids can get benefitted out of it. Education is clearly a very valuable tool, if used well. By giving our kids quality education, we can empower them and raise them from their meager existence. Education is the only thing that will remain with them for their lifetime and will help them grow as a strong individual.

But I would like to say something else too. Even though we are doing really good and are getting a positive feedback from the children, but I still feel that something is missing and that is extra-curricular activities. For me, the true value of education lies not just in reading books and appearing well in exams, but it’s also about its practical application. We should not make our students merely robots, who just learn what we teach them in classrooms and do nothing creative on their own. For this, we need to introduce other activities for them besides academics, such as Dance, Singing, Painting, Poetry Writing, Sculpting, etc. Of course, it is not possible for us to give our students all these facilities due to the lack of funds, but we in some way or the other can surely work towards it. In this way, our students will achieve an over-round development of their personalities.

Let’s also try and inculcate good values in them and develop in them the spiritual angle so that they grow up not as self-centered individuals, but someone who can give it back to society and contribute towards the growth of humanity. I know the way we are progressing on our path; we will make our children strong and confident individuals who will be able to deal with any tough situations while keeping their morality intact with them.

This is all I have to say and now I would request everyone to give their valuable feedback and suggestions so that we can make the next plan of action accordingly.

Speech on the Value of Education 3

Respected Principal, Vice Principal, Teachers, My Dear Students and all the Parents – Warm Greetings to all of you!!

Today was the parents-teachers meeting day, I hope everything went smooth and parents received fair feedbacks of their children from their respective class teachers. Other than PTM, the managing committee decided to also host a speech delivery ceremony on the topic called ‘The Value of Education’. Since the topic is relevant for all, the day of PTM is most suited to this ceremony.

I, Sormishta Vashisht, Social Science Teacher of the Senior Secondary Classes, am being chosen to deliver the speech. Even though the occasion is right here, I haven’t come prepared because the topic is so close to our hearts that anyone can address it and put forth their valid points. So here instead of making you passively listen to me I would also like to raise questions so that you all can also participate and guide each other on this topic.

If I ask everyone present here – What exactly is education? Is it only about academics, acquiring basic skills and becoming a rational being? Or is it much more than that? And, if it is much more than that then can it be defined in clear terms? As far as my opinion is concerned, I would like to say that education is a process which is carried down for the lifetime and consists of every possible experience one gains from formal or informal set ups. Therefore, education, I believe, is something not just restricted to books or classroom teaching, but goes beyond it. It should not be about mechanically learning facts and data, but it’s about acquiring skills, becoming creative in everything that we do and realizing our inner strengths and polishing those strengths so that not only we can be benefitted out of it, but our society and humanity at large can draw a positive force.

Unfortunately, in the present times, we are leaving behind the primary aim of education, which has just been relegated to the notion of acquiring more and more marks. Besides, the fundamental aim of education has got further distorted by the governmental policies, double standards of our society and of course the poor economic growth. I am sure you all must have heard the punch line that is making rounds these days, “ Padhega India, tbhi to badhega India ”. But how can India progress when majority of the Indian population lives below poverty line and cannot even meet their basic needs?

Education has become a money making business for the private schools these days and the education system in government schools is still poor. How we can bridge this gap? And, how we can prevent such schools from extorting huge money at the name of education? The value of education can only be raised when no child would be deprived of education and his/her potential would be tapped to its optimum. Secondly, stress should not just be laid down on getting more and more marks, but acquiring practical skills which can later on become a good source of income for those students and aid in improving the country’s economy.

So we as an educational institute should join hands and work together in making education accessible to each and every child living around us and help our students in first becoming great human beings then a great scholar.

Speech on the Value of Education 4

Warm greetings to our distinguished guests, respected principal, teachers and my dear friends!

Every child is born into this world with the “trailing clouds of glory from heaven”. And, suddenly these little angels of God find themselves filled with fears, doubts and confusion. It is here that the role of education gets highlighted. When these God’s angles struggle with fears and doubts, education comes to their rescue and acts as sunshine by removing darkness and helping them overcome their fears and clear their doubts. When it happens, the world appears bright and cheerful and helps children in becoming good human beings.

But education doesn’t come on its own as there is got to be an intermediary who can impart knowledge and show them the right path. This is certainly the role a teacher plays in our lives and he/she is the one who comes as an experienced person and helps children differentiate between right and wrong. Of course, it’s the parents who act as a best guide for the children and help them grow as a responsible citizen because gaining bookish knowledge is not enough. One has to go farther than this and when children learn how to live their lives with dignity, conduct themselves, how to be humble and how to treat others – it is then the education is considered to be complete and believed to be serving its purpose.

Let me share with you a brief story on the Value of Education. Once there was a man who was passing through the desert when suddenly he heard a voice calling on him by saying, “Take some pebbles and keep them with you and tomorrow you will be both glad and sorry”.

The man did the same and next morning when he searched into his pocket, he found emeralds, rubies and diamonds. And at that time he was both happy and sorry. He was happy because he had taken at least some and sorry that he didn’t pick more. This is true of education also.

So my dear friends, let’s keep the value of education intact so that we do not feel sorry the coming day. Education is that wealth which no one can steal but it increases the more you share it with others. Having said that, it’s important to be fully vigilant of what we are sharing with others in the form of knowledge as we should share meaningful and life enhancing knowledge and not something that destroys people and communities.

Education is the most powerful tool so use it wisely. If you are a privileged person, help others by enlightening them, by teaching them the difference between right and wrong and imparting moral values. If education will be based on values and ethics, strengthened by sound moral principles, then our generation will grow up as rational beings. On the contrary, if education will be founded on selfish reasons then no one can prevent that society from its downfall and there will be chaos everywhere.

So let’s take the onus of imparting good values to our coming generation and never lose sight of the primary aim of education, i.e. to become good and responsible global citizens.

Education Speech 2

Good morning to my respected teachers and my dear friends. My dear friends, education is the tool which removes all the differences among us and makes us capable to go ahead together. It makes our challenging paths of the life very easy to lead. Getting quality education is like yoga and meditation as it requires concentration, patience and dedication. Without education, there is no difference between human beings and animals. Education is a powerful tool capable to solve all the social, personal and family problems. It is like a medicine which has capability to treat almost all the diseases. Education is most important to all of us to lead a happy life. Earlier the education system in India was so poor and undisciplined. The kids of rich people were allowed to study however kids of poor people were not allowed to study in the same school or college. Poor people were forced to do labour in the fields only, which was the main reason of discrimination among people in society, inequality, gender inequality , and lots of social issues because of the lack of good education. Low level of education for poor people made them vulnerable to the economic and political exploitation in their own country. There has been made adequate provisions for the poor people in the Indian constitution in order to remove inequality and ensure the empowerment and participation of people of all levels equally.

The right for proper education is the birth right of everyone, restricting one from getting proper education is the crime. Education helps us to understand between good or bad, right or wrong and help us in taking decision in the favour of right ones. It helps us in everything of wide range of problems. We can solve the mysteries of this universe. Education is like magic which helps us to learn all the magic to stay happily on this planet. It keeps us free of all doubts, superstitions as well as removes away all the social evils affecting the society. Better educated people can safeguard their family and nation in more secure and easy way.

Education Speech 3

Good morning to my respected teachers and my dear friends. Today, at this great occasion, I would like to speech about the education and its values in our lives. Education means a lot to us, without education we are nothing. We get motivated towards the education from our childhood by our parents and from teachers when we start going to school. If one is getting proper education from childhood, doing a best investment of his/her life. Education is not only means to read, write or learn, it is the way to live positively and live life happily. It benefits everyone related to the person such as personal, family, neighbours, society, community and country. It is the best tool to remove poverty and inequality from the society. It provides everyone critical skills and technical knowledge to serve better in their own life, family society and country.

Education provides better opportunity in future for viable economic growth. It helps us to keep ourselves and people related to us happy and healthy. Proper education prevents us from the many diseases as well as helps fight the spread of communicable diseases like HIV/AIDS, infections, etc. It helps to make future bright in all aspects. It gives proper understanding to us to tackle to many problems all through the life. Through the proper education, one knows the value of people and value of unity which ultimately reduces the conflicts among people in family, society and country. Good education is the best tool for any nation to go ahead, grow and develop among other strong nations. Well educated people of any country are the most precious assets of that country. Education is the way to reduce mother and child mortality rate by improving their health.

Education brings transparency, stability, good governance as well as helps to fight against graft and corruption. Still, in many backwards regions the meaning of education is nothing. They are so poor that they spend their whole day in earning only two times food. They understand that earning money from childhood is good instead of wasting money in education. Education is really an amazing tool which raises income, improves health, promotes gender equality, mitigates climate change, reduces poverty and so many. It helps in making a peaceful environment at home or in office. Education provides intellectual freedom and keeps us happy physically, mentally, socially and intellectually. It promotes the habit of ideas and experiences sharing among people as well as motivates them for morals, ethics and community responsibilities.

Education provides us wide range of knowledge such as art, history, sports, maths, literature and fields. Education is the basic building blocks of success, bright career and better quality of life.

It’s very hard to imagine a world without schools and colleges. I think it is impossible for everyone. Every one of us gets problem in waking up in the early morning or studying all through the night during monthly tests and examinations. However, we all know well about the value and importance of the education in our life. It is not true that if one does not get proper education, he becomes fail in life. However, education provides better chance in life to always go ahead and easy ways to get success in life. Education is very important to all of us as it provides confidence and dare to lot of problems.

Educated people are better able to fulfil their dreams in comparison to uneducated people. Education is very important for a person to overcome all the ancient superstitions which negatively affects our lives even after being baseless and useless. Illiterate and uneducated people become more prone to the superstitious beliefs very easily as they have no clue about truth. Education improves our awareness about the reality of superstitions and replaces all the negative beliefs with proper reasons and logics. In the ever changing world of high technologies, it needs to be careful and updated all time which is not possible without education. Without education it is not possible for everyone to accept and adapt all the changes of modern world.

A well educated person becomes more aware of the latest technologies and keeps himself more updated to the all changes going throughout the world. In this advance world of internet, everyone go to internet and search required information to get online and quick knowledge. The education system in the modern world has become so easy and comfortable than the ancient time just because of the internet. Everyone knows how to surf internet however uneducated one may not know all the benefits of the internet however educated one understand internet as a gift of technology and use in their personal and professional life to make better and happy career.

Education involves better in the life to make it happy and healthy. Illiterate people do lots of ignorance towards their health, family, society and country. Such ignorance may prove very dangerous in their life and personal and national growth and development. Educated people know better how to keep themselves happy and healthy as well as prevent from a number of diseases. Educated person knows well about the symptoms of any disease and never avoid seeking medical aids unless symptoms gone completely however uneducated person do opposite because of lack of knowledge and poverty. It makes us confident, more sociable and more responsible towards our life.

Speech on Moral Values

Moral values are the principles and beliefs that shape our behavior and help us distinguish right from wrong. These values guide us in our interactions with others and define the type of person we want to be.

  • 10 Lines Speech on Moral Values

In a world where we are often faced with conflicting information and values, it can be easy to lose sight of what is truly important. This is why it is so important to hold onto and prioritise our moral values.

Values like honesty, kindness, compassion, and respect are not just nice to have, they are essential to building and maintaining healthy relationships with others.

These values are the foundation of trust and understanding and allow us to connect with others on a deeper level.

Moreover, moral values help us make difficult decisions by providing a clear framework for ethical behaviour.

When we face challenging situations, our moral values can help us stay true to ourselves and our beliefs, even in the face of adversity.

Holding onto our moral values allows us to be the best version of ourselves.

When we live our lives in alignment with our values, we experience a sense of inner peace and contentment that cannot be found in material possessions or external achievements.

Moral values are the compass that guides us through life. By prioritising and living according to our values, we can build strong relationships, make ethical decisions, and live a fulfilling life.

Inculcating moral values is a lifelong process, and it requires consistency, patience, and commitment.

It is important to remember that children learn best when they feel safe, loved, and supported, so creating a nurturing environment is crucial to the process.

Speech on Moral Values

Moral values are principles and beliefs that guide a person's behaviour and decision-making in distinguishing right from wrong.

How can we inculcate Moral Values

Inculcating moral values is an ongoing process that starts at home and continues throughout life. Here are some ways to help inculcate moral values:

Be a role model | Children learn by observing the behavior of those around them. It is important to model the moral values you want to inculcate in them.

Teach by example | Explain moral values through real-life situations and teach children how to apply these values in their daily lives.

Reinforce positive behaviour | Praise and acknowledge children when they demonstrate moral values and correct them when they don't.

Encourage empathy | Help children develop empathy by encouraging them to put themselves in other people's shoes and consider how their actions might impact others.

Teach responsibility | Encourage children to take responsibility for their actions and hold them accountable for their behaviour.

Foster communication | Encourage open communication and help children develop the skills to express themselves and listen to others.

Provide opportunities for community service | Engaging in community service activities can help children develop a sense of social responsibility and empathy for others.

Use media and literature | Use books, movies, and TV shows to teach moral values and reinforce positive behaviour.

Moral values are the foundation of ethical behaviour and help individuals prioritise what is important in their lives. Examples of moral values include honesty, integrity, respect, kindness, compassion, responsibility, and fairness.

Moral values are the fundamental principles that shape our character and guide our behavior, both towards ourselves and others. They are learned through practice and daily application, and are crucial for personal, social, and spiritual growth.

Moral values are important because they guide our behaviour and decision-making and help us distinguish right from wrong. Here are some of the reasons why moral values are essential:

Provide a sense of direction | Moral values provide a framework for ethical behaviour and help us navigate through life's challenges with a sense of purpose and direction.

Build strong relationships | Values like honesty, respect, and kindness are essential to building and maintaining healthy relationships with others. These values help us connect with others on a deeper level and establish trust and understanding.

Foster empathy and compassion | Moral values encourage empathy and compassion for others and help us develop a sense of social responsibility. This, in turn, helps us create a more just and equitable society.

Develop character and integrity | Living according to our moral values helps us develop strong character and integrity, which are essential to achieving our goals and fulfilling our potential.

Enhance personal growth and fulfilment | Living a life based on moral values can help us find meaning and purpose in life, leading to personal growth and fulfilment.

Honesty | Students should be encouraged to be truthful and sincere in their interactions with others.

Respect | Students should be taught to show respect to their teachers, parents, peers, and all individuals, regardless of their background or beliefs.

Responsibility | Students should be taught to take responsibility for their actions and be accountable for their behaviour.

Kindness | Students should be encouraged to be kind and compassionate towards others, including animals and the environment.

Empathy | Students should be taught to understand and appreciate the feelings and experiences of others and develop empathy towards those who are less fortunate.

Fairness | Students should be taught to be fair and just in their interactions with others and not discriminate on the basis of race, gender, religion, or other factors.

Perseverance | Students should be encouraged to persevere through challenges and not give up easily.

Self-control | Students should be taught to exercise self-control and manage their emotions and impulses.

Gratitude | Students should be encouraged to express gratitude and appreciation for the blessings in their lives.

By embracing these moral values, students can develop strong character, empathy, and social responsibility, and become responsible and ethical individuals. Moral values are closely tied to our sense of purpose in life and our attitude towards others, and can help us overcome selfishness and prioritise the well-being of humanity, society, and the world. Ultimately, values provide the underlying motivation for our actions.

In conclusion, moral values are essential to our personal and social development, guiding our behaviour and decision-making and helping us create a more just and equitable society.

Speech on Value of Time in English for Students

Speech on topic importance of time.

Time is very important in life. No one can escape the passing of time. If time is managed properly it would lead to the development of a good habit of organizing the daily activities.

Students should understand the importance of time. It will help them in managing time properly.

Below 2 speeches are given on the importance of time, A long speech on value of time in student’ life and a short speech on value of time in students' life. These speeches will help the students to understand how precious time is.

Long Speech on Topic Importance of Time

‘Good morning everyone’! Today I want to talk about the importance of time. So what is time? Well, time is measured by hours, days years, and so on. Time is very important in life. No one can escape the passing of time. If time is managed properly it would lead to the development of a good habit of organizing the daily activities. We all cannot escape time and are subject to ageing and mortality.

Time plays an important role in everyone’s life. If time is invested properly it could be used to develop a skill. Time also healing a person both externally and internally.

Time is considered to be the ultimate thing that cannot be measured. When proper work is done and completed on time it will yield a fruitful result.

As the proverb goes “TIme and tide wait for none”, all the students should understand this proverb. Time waits for no one and it just passes by. It is the duty of the person to value time and manage it properly so that the task could be completed.

Students should understand that time is invaluable. People think that money has the most value on Earth but it is not. Time is more valuable than money. Lost money can be earned back but lost time cannot be and nothing can stop the flow of time in our lives. Time is precious and it is required that everyone should use it wisely.

So the next question that comes to everyone’s mind is how to use time wisely? Well, there is the word for that and that is ‘Discipline’. Everyone should have discipline in every walk of life. If we are disciplined in our life no one can raise a finger against us.

Discipline plays an important role in students’ life. If the student shows discipline and if is always on time. It is a sign of maturity and he or she will be appreciated by the teachers.

The next thing that I want to talk about is Time management as it is required to understand the value of time. A person who completes his or her work on time will in turn help them to be successful.

Students should develop the habit of time management as early as possible. While preparing for an exam, time management plays an important role. Students who manage their time by studying a particular subject at a particular time help the students to complete the syllabus in time and perform well in exams.

To conclude this speech, I want to say that everyone should develop a habit to complete a particular task in that frame of time. The task could be anything from preparing for exams, working out, or sleeping. Completing the task on time will help in saving the time which could be used to develop a new skill. History is evident that all successful people in the world are very good at managing time. Elon Musk, Bill Gates, Oprah Winfrey, and so on manages time very effectively and use the free time to read books. The most important people in the world are very conscious of the value of time. Hence, we should also not waste time and try to make the best use of it. Thank You.
