The Creative Writing Club @ UF
President Solange Sanchez: a s a fourth year English major, her like for literature is evident. Her passion, however, lies with Creative Writing and the beauty that fantastical stories have to offer. She’s a lover of all forms of art; writing, painting, cosplaying, music, etc. And is very happy to have the opportunity to get to share a space with great writers this semester.
Treasurer Abbey Peterman: she is a first-year pre-vet student at UF who has an appreciation for all facets of creativity, English tutor, a non-profit founder, and a lover of the Oxford comma. As a published poet and an aspiring novelist, Abbey draws inspiration from nature and philosophy to create works of literature. As the treasurer of UF’s Creative Writing Club, Abbey hopes to provide creative support to those who share the same passion for writing as she does.

This is something I thought I'd bring together to see if there are any other aspiring authors, poets, world builders, or simply people who like to dabble in writing that are looking for a community. I've created a Discord and a GroupMe for anyone who'd like to join, I want to create a space where writers and lovers of writing can get together and talk ideas, edit each others work, and share words of encouragement!
I also would love to have socials sometime in the future, either in person or on zoom, Corona permitting of course. PM me if you have any questions!
