QNET Business: The Do’s and Don’ts

Direct selling is a great opportunity for aspiring entrepreneurs to become financially independent. It is often viewed as an unconventional path, mostly because people are still unaware of many facets that make it a leading industry.

But   direct selling has been gaining popularity. Over the years, the direct selling industry has seen a huge growth, with more and more people shifting from their conventional jobs. According to the World Federation of Direct Selling Associations (WFDSA), India saw its total number of direct sellers rise to 5.7 million in 2018-19 and is likely to grow to 18 million by 2025. (Source:  The Hindu )

QNET has been one of the leading direct selling companies in the industry for two decades. It has been empowering individuals across the world to be their own boss. The company has a well-established e-commerce platform with a wide range of products. Their portfolio includes products ranging from health and wellness, home and living, watches and jewellery and beauty and care.

The diverse range caters to large demographics ensuring that direct sellers can promote the products of their choice. The QNET business opportunity allows direct sellers to build a sales team who would further help them grow their business.

There are many other advantages that make QNET direct selling a great opportunity for individuals to capitalise on their untapped potential. However, a QNET direct seller must ensure that they maintain ethics. The company has clear mandates and Code of Ethics for all its direct sellers. There are a few active measures that direct sellers can take to ensure that they run their business smoothly.

I have compiled a few important points that QNET distributors can note while starting their journey with QNET.

The Do’s and Don’ts of QNET business

I would highly recommend QNET distributors to go through and understand QNET’s Policies and Procedures and Code of Conduct/ Ethics documents. They will give the distributor a general idea of how they can conduct their business. QNET further encourages all its distributors to maintain professionalism and ethics.

While I was starting my journey, I was fortunate to find great mentors who were there to guide me. Apart from learning important networking and business ideas, one of the most important things that I learnt was how to conduct a direct selling business. Also, I was able to learn what not to do while being a QNET direct seller. So, here are a few important practices that QNET entrepreneurs can follow –

1) Product sales

It is important for direct sellers to respect their customers. Direct sellers must put themselves in their customers’ shoes and understand their needs. They must convey accurate information while selling or recommending products.

A good practice is to use official documents and resources from QNET while making presentations. Direct sellers can access the QNET website to gain information. QBuzz and QNET social media pages are other reliable sources for gaining information. Another positive way to present products is to use them first. This would allow us to understand the product’s value and unique selling points.

I use most of the products I recommend. This allows me to talk about it with conviction and a belief that the product can help the customer. If not, I would not recommend the product.

The Don’ts:

Over exaggerating a product’s features or benefits is a firm NO. All that does is that it breeds unrealistic expectations in the customers. And when it doesn’t yield results as per those expectations, it usually renders them unsatisfied. QNET condemns false claims. So, one must be careful about the claims they make.

Unfair sales methods and pressurising the customers is also not a good practice. If the distributors violate the P&P contract or the Code of Ethics , they are immediately terminated by the company. So, the distributors must tread carefully when selling the products.

2) Prospecting

The first step is to thoroughly learn about QNET, the business opportunity, compensation plan and other important details. These details must be accurate to ensure that the prospect becomes aware of the opportunity and its potential. Moreover, they also need to know what they are investing their time and efforts into. If the information provided is not accurate, it will again lead to unrealistic expectations.

If a direct seller is unsure, they must ask their mentors and seek clarity. They can also reach out to various informational sources and QNET contact points from the QNET Virtual Office.

It should be made clear that this is not a scheme where they would get rich quickly. Just like any other business, the prospect needs to spend time building the business and scaling it as per their expectations.

Also, everyone might not share the same perspective when it comes to the opportunity or the industry. So, it is important to respect their point of view under any circumstance.

The most important thing to note while prospecting is not to oversell the opportunity. Sometimes, it is possible that one might get carried away. However, I would recommend that they take a step back and ensure that they don’t mislead the prospect.

The direct sellers must not entice prospects from outside their line of referrals or sign them under their sales team. This is highly unethical and only tends to breed mistrust. Moreover, the direct seller mustn’t spread malicious or suspicious information about QNET. This is in direct violation of the P&P document. Also, spreading such information on social media is a violation of the social media policy.

The direct sellers must refrain from engaging in spreading malicious information. In any case, they must contact the QNET India customer care office for assistance.

3) The QNET business Compensation Plan

QNET provides a simple yet effective compensation plan that is equally applicable to all its distributors. The best practice is to attend QNET compensation plan training sessions before pitching it to prospects. The next important thing is to use only official Compensation Plan documents that QNET provides on their website. This ensures that there is no misinformation about the compensation.

Do not present the compensation plan without the official documents. Moreover, if one does not thoroughly understand the plan, then they must refrain from presenting it.

The distributors must not make their own compensation plan or share misleading information. They must be extra careful while talking about any facts and figures. This also means they should not promise or make claims about the amount of money one can earn from the opportunity.

4) Income earnings

Before starting the QNET business, I would recommend every direct seller to go through their Policies and Procedures . While doing their research on the compensation plan, it is also important for direct sellers to also go through the income earnings disclaimer . This would further allow the direct seller to understand the compensation plan and its restrictions.

It must be reiterated that direct sellers must not promise, suggest or claim any kind of amount about the potential of how much a prospect can earn. Moreover, it wouldn’t be wise for direct sellers to have unrealistic expectations without putting in the hard work and necessary hours to succeed. Also, another key thing to understand is that direct sellers cannot just earn simply by recruiting a sales team. The commissions or compensations are paid only when a customer buys a product.

A QNET Distributor ethically presenting the QNET direct selling opportunity

So, these are the important Do’s and Don’ts to note in QNET direct selling. Over the years, they have helped me run my business without much trouble. I have followed all the above points, and it has helped me scale my business and help various other individuals.

The QNET direct selling business is an endeavour that can benefit direct sellers if it is done ethically with the right intentions. I hope the above-mentioned guidelines have added perspective about the opportunity. For more information about the QNET direct selling opportunity, visit QBuzz India .

What It Takes to Give a Great Presentation

how to do presentation in qnet

Five tips to set yourself apart.

Never underestimate the power of great communication. It can help you land the job of your dreams, attract investors to back your idea, or elevate your stature within your organization. But while there are plenty of good speakers in the world, you can set yourself apart out by being the person who can deliver something great over and over. Here are a few tips for business professionals who want to move from being good speakers to great ones: be concise (the fewer words, the better); never use bullet points (photos and images paired together are more memorable); don’t underestimate the power of your voice (raise and lower it for emphasis); give your audience something extra (unexpected moments will grab their attention); rehearse (the best speakers are the best because they practice — a lot).

I was sitting across the table from a Silicon Valley CEO who had pioneered a technology that touches many of our lives — the flash memory that stores data on smartphones, digital cameras, and computers. He was a frequent guest on CNBC and had been delivering business presentations for at least 20 years before we met. And yet, the CEO wanted to sharpen his public speaking skills.

Japan grappled an astonishing eight golds in wrestling at the 2024 Paris Olympics — and 11 total medals — out of the 18 events and weight classes contested this past fortnight. It was the country's best performance at a single Olympics, surpassing its five golds from Tokyo 1964 and Tokyo 2020, and the highest wrestling gold haul of any NOC since the Soviet Union at Seoul 1988.

In France, Team USA earned two wrestling golds — one less than Tokyo — while its total medal total dropped from nine to seven. Paris 2024 marked the first time the U.S. left a Games without a men's freestyle gold in 56 years, dating back to Mexico City 1968.

But the pair of American golds, won by 20-year-old Amit Elor in 68kg and 30-year-old Sarah Hildebrandt in 50kg, represent perhaps the country's most compelling Olympic wrestling storyline: The U.S. women's wrestling team continues to fire on all cylinders.

FULL REPLAYS: WRESTLING RESULTS: WRESTLING

Japan 8 - 2 -1 11
Iran 2 - 4 - 2 8
USA 2 - 2 - 3 7
Bulgaria 2 - 0 - 0 2

Japan earns eight of the 18 contested golds

In the overall medal count, Japan placed third at these Games with 20 gold medals overall. A whopping eight of those came from wrestling.

Rei Higuchi Men's freestyle 57kg
Kotaro Kiyooka Men's freestyle 65kg
Kenichiro Fumita Greco-Roman 60kg
Nao Kusaka Greco-Roman 77kg
Akari Fujinama Women's freestyle 53kg
Tsugumi Sakurai Women's freestyle 57kg
Sakura Motoki Women's freestyle 62kg
Yuka Kagami Women's freestyle 76kg

To put that into perspective: Japanese athletes topped 44.44% of all contested wrestling events in Paris.

From Blades to Hildebrandt, Team USA's women shine

There were 18 wrestling events at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Of those, 12 involved men competing against other men. Yet half of Japan's wrestling golds resulted from women topping the podium.

The United States reached four wrestling finals at these Games: women's 50kg, 68kg, 76kg, and men's 57kg.

California's Amir Elot won 68kg gold, the first contested final against Kyrgyzstan's Meerim Zhumanazarova , on Aug. 6. The following evening, Indiana's Sarah Hildebrandt defeated Cuba's Yusneylys Guzman to make the U.S. 2-for-2.

No two American women had won wrestling gold at a single Olympics before Paris.

Twenty-year-old Kennedy Blades of Illinois had the opportunity to extend that record to three golds — but lost a tight gold medal match, 3-1, for silver.

The fourth American woman to earn a wrestling medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics was none other than Helen Maroulis , who became the first-ever American to win a gold medal in women's freestyle wrestling at the Olympics at the Rio 2016 Games. She earned bronze in Paris competing in the 57kg weight class.

U.S. men leave Paris without freestyle or Greco-Roman gold

On the flip side of the coin, U.S. men failed to win an Olympic freestyle wrestling for the first time in more than half a century.

The closest to a gold run: Pennsylvania's 25-year-old Spencer Lee , who — like Blades — fell to a powerhouse Japanese wrestler, 28-year-old Rei Higuchi .

Legendary Lopez wins fifth gold, leaves shoes on the mat

Cuba's Mijain Lopez won his first Olympic gold in men's super heavyweight wrestling at Beijing 2008.

Mijain won the event at each Games since: London 2012, Rio 2016, Tokyo 2020, Paris 2024.

He's the only athlete to win five-straight golds in a single individual event.

After securing his latest Olympic medal, Mijain removed his shoes and left them on the Parisian mat, signifying retirement. They'll be impossible shoes to fill.

Tim Walz's military record: What to know about potential VP's National Guard service

how to do presentation in qnet

Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris selected Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as her running mate on Tuesday, choosing a progressive yet plain-spoken VP candidate from America’s heartland to help her win over rural, white voters.

“I’m pleased to share that I’ve made my decision: Minnesota Governor Tim Walz will join our campaign as my running mate,” Harris said via text to supporters. “Tim is a battle-tested leader who has an incredible track record of getting things done for Minnesota families. I know that he will bring that same principled leadership to our campaign, and to the office of the vice president.”

We look at Walz, a 60-year-old U.S. Army National Guard veteran, and his military career over the years.

More: Tim Walz is Kamala Harris' VP pick: Minnesota governor named running mate: Live updates

How long was Walz in the military?

Walz served in the military for 24 years, enlisting in the Nebraska National Guard at 17 in 1981 and then transferring to the Minnesota National Guard in 1996. He retired in 2005 to begin his successful run for the U.S. House, representing Minnesota as command sergeant major, among the highest ranks for enlisted soldiers. His battalion went on to deploy to Iraq shortly after Walz's retirement.

Walz specialized in heavy artillery and had proficiency ribbons in sharpshooting and hand grenades.

But during the 21 years that Walz spent working with large artillery pieces, he suffered hearing loss and tinnitus in both ears, Minnesota Public Radio reported. He was allowed to continue his service after undergoing surgery, which partially resolved his hearing loss.

Where did Walz serve, and what did he do in the National Guard?

During his service, Walz responded to natural disasters, including floods and tornadoes in Minnesota and Nebraska, and was deployed overseas for months at a time, according to MPR.

In 2003, he was sent to Italy, where he served with the European Security Force to support the war in Afghanistan. He was also stationed in Norway for joint training with other NATO militaries.

Walz told MPR that he reenlisted in the National Guard after the September 11 attacks but never saw active combat in his years in the military.

Stars and Stripes reported in 2020 that Walz credited his Army experience with helping him steer Minnesota through the COVID-19 pandemic as governor.

As governor of Minnesota, Walz is commander in chief of the 13,000-soldier Minnesota National Guard. “I’m certainly proud of my military service, but it’s one piece of me,” he told Minnesota Public Radio in 2018. “It doesn’t define me.”

How to use Gemini AI to create presentations in Google Slides

The only thing people enjoy less than sitting through a slideshow presentation is making a slideshow presentation. But with the integration of Gemini AI into Google Slides , that process is about to get a whole lot easier.

How to integrate Gemini into Google Slides

Getting started with gemini, what gemini can do in slides, what you can do with gemini in slides.

In this guide, we’ll explore everything you need to seamlessly incorporate Gemini AI into your workflow. Whether you’re looking to enhance your design elements, streamline content generation, or simply save yourself some time, Gemini AI offers a suite of features that can transform the way you build your presentations.

As with the integrations for Docs and Sheets, Gemini AI is not available for use with Slides at the free tier. You’ll need a $20/month subscription to the  Google One AI Premium Plan to gain access; otherwise, a work or school account through a Gemini for Google Workspace add-on will work.

Simply click on the “Try  Gemini Advanced !” radio button in the top-right corner of the Gemini home screen and follow the prompts.

To begin, open a new or existing Slides presentation, then click the Ask Gemini button in the top-right corner of the screen (to the right of the share button). This will expand the Gemini AI sidebar running down the right side length of the screen. On the sidebar, you’ll be able to either enter your idea directly into the prompt window or take inspiration from the AI-generated image slideshow at the bottom of the screen.

Primarily, Gemini AI can create images, generate new slides, summarize a presentation, and write and rewrite content. It can also reference Drive files or Gmail as you write, as well as search the internet for current information and statistics to answer questions that arise while you write. Basically, it works as a writing and research aide, same as it does for Docs.

Gemini takes the grunt work out of the slide creation process and accelerates my workflow to a startling degree. While I’ve watched countless slideshows as a journalist (on earnings calls, product demos, keynote events, and the like), I’ve been lucky enough to not have had to make one myself in well over a decade. Suffice to say, actually producing a professional-looking slide deck these days takes me ages to accomplish, what with all the bullet points, image sourcing, thematic formatting, and whathaveyou.

But with the help of Gemini, I was able to pop out a solid eight-slide introduction to the Seattle, Washington, region that discusses the city’s main attractions, the state of its housing market (both sales and rentals), its education and health care systems, and reasons why folks should move to the region — all using simple prompts like, “add a slide discussing the education system in Seattle, the number of primary schools in the Seattle area, and Washington’s average education ranking among U.S. states.” I did all of that in under 10 minutes.

There were a few limitations to what Gemini could help me with, mind you. I repeatedly asked it to incorporate motion transitions between each slide ( because who doesn’t love a good star wipe ?); however, the system kept generating slides discussing transitions as a subject topic instead. I ultimately had to add those effects by hand.

Also, if I were actually giving this presentation in public, I’d have to spend a good amount of time going back through and confirming the veracity of each of the bullet points to ensure the system didn’t hallucinate anything, but without the AI, just creating this deck by hand would have taken me a couple of miserable hours at least.

The AI launched in February 2023 as a replacement for the retired Cortana, Microsoft's previous digital assistant. It was initially branded as Bing Chat and offered as a built-in feature for Bing and the Edge browser. In time, I'm sure they will come to appreciate them.

The Briefing: Marta’s international finale

The Briefing: Marta’s international finale

There was something just a little bit magical about seeing Marta enter the gold medal match and strap on the captain’s armband in the 61st minute. Call it sentimentality or call it respect, even the pro-USA crowd paused in their chanting to cheer for the GOAT herself.

Marta has long plied her international career far from home to bring renown to a program that, at least until recently, hasn’t managed to give back to her as much it took.

It was interesting that Marta came on for Ludmila , who was nearly singlehandedly the biggest threat in front of the U.S. goal in the first half.

Marta lingered off of the center backs in hopes of disrupting their shape and spacing on quick transition, which made sense given the success Brazil was having stretching the U.S. You can’t not track Marta even as you know she’s trying to warp you like a Photoshop tool.

But it wasn’t enough for Brazil as the U.S. withstood waves of late attacks, exhorted by Marta’s efforts around the box. Afterwards Marta could be seen speaking in teammates’ ears, hugging staff, standing strong amidst the tears around her, ever the beacon.

She departs this Olympics as a silver medalist, but no medal, no matter the color, could truly encompass her career. Read more below.

The Briefing: How Brazil stopped the USWNT in the first half

Throughout this tournament, the USWNT has made a point of threatening teams early in games to set a tone of dominance whenever possible. In each of their first five games, the United States held an advantage in the balance of expected goals.

Brazil came out with a point to prove, setting themselves up to not just contain the United States attack, but create their own threat. They achieved it quite simply: having just four field players in the central third, while camping a center back, a wing back, and a winger in each wide space.

Out of possession, it allowed them to close passing lanes to Trinity Rodman and Mallory Swanson on the flank. Brazil’s wingers poured pressure upon Crystal Dunn and Emily Fox and drew the center backs into wide areas — creating open pockets in the box to set up dangerous crosses.

Ultimately, Brazil was unable to capitalize with a first-half strike. Alyssa Naeher came up big on multiple occasions to keep the game scoreless, but considering the USWNT’s struggles in midfield throughout this tournament, it was a savvy tactical adjustment by Brazil to neutralize their opponents’ strengths.

USWNT boss Emma Hayes dedicates gold medal to late father Sid

Speaking after the match, United States head coach Emma Hayes told Discovery Plus: "I'm very emotional.

"It's been a dream of mine and I have to thank my dad - he's the one who pushed me to this position, to be able to come and coach an unbelievable group of players, who have received me so well and taken on board everything I've asked.

"They are tremendous people and players and role models and I love them.

"I've got my dad's necklace on, it's got an American eagle, and he was with me today and that helped. The crowd were tremendous, Brazil were tremendous, I'm just speechless. I'm in shock."

The Briefing: Swanson scores again

After working hard to recover from injury in 2023, Mallory Swanson has been as invigorating as the rest of her 'Triple Espresso' comrades throughout these Olympics. After a cagey first half of today’s final, Swanson finally found space beyond the back line to break open a deadlocked match.

Credit to midfielder Korbin Albert for spotting the industry of Swanson and Sophia Smith in the 57th minute, lobbing a ball over the backline seemingly into Smith’s path.

The Portland Thorns forward wisely suspected she was offside, providing a decoy to keep the Brazilian defense on lower alert while Swanson swooped in — from an onside position — to collect and carry the ball.

From there, it was Swanson at her best. It was a sequence worth of opening a gold medal match, and as fine a way to mark a player’s 100th cap as one could possibly imagine.

It’s frankly hard to fathom that Swanson, who only just turned 26 in April, has already completed her first century of USWNT appearances as of Saturday’s final. As the old guard hung up their boots, she finally stepped into the forward line. Read more below!

Tears, hugs, handshakes for USWNT at the end

Tears, hugs, handshakes for USWNT at the end

It's always fascinating to see how a young team will react to the final whistle.

About half the team elected to sprint to Alyssa Naeher , some just collapsed where they were. There were tears, there were hugs, there were plenty of handshakes for Marta .

But in the end, it was Mal Swanson in her 100th cap coming up big. Alyssa Naeher with a few major stops. A team effort of surviving a rough first half and turning it on for the second.

They're setting the stage for the medal ceremony now. The USWNT will be in the gold medal spot for the first time in 12 years.

The Truth about QNET: What Is QNET?

Orange QNET logo background truth about qnet

We know that in this day and age, finding honest and straight answers about organisations, no matter how large or small, can be difficult. The abundance of information available online might seem helpful at first, but if you pay close attention, you will realise the information is often incorrect or contradictory. And that’s not to mention how downright overwhelming it can be to do your own research!

One of the best ways to learn the truth about a business is to ask them questions directly. You will be surprised how many companies are willing to be open and transparent about their business. We are aware that many people have questions about the truth about QNET, our business model, our products and even concerns about the allegations they read online. Read on to learn the truth about QNET, including more information on the QNET direct selling business and how to take advantage of the QNET business opportunity.

What is the QNET Business?

QNET  is a direct selling company that offers a variety of products and services related to health, wellness, lifestyle, and education. QNET’s products are designed to help people live healthier and improve their lifestyle and livelihood. The QNET business is headquartered in Hong Kong and has offices and agency partnerships in more than 25 countries worldwide that provide support to its growing base of customers and distributors. In addition to providing quality products, QNET’s customers can also take advantage of the direct selling business offered by QNET by promoting its products and services to others. Millions of satisfied customers in more than 100 countries have become distributors of QNET’s products by earning commissions on product sales.

What is Direct Selling?

When it comes to understanding the truth about QNET, understanding direct selling is a  big part of it.. Direct selling is a method of marketing and retailing goods and services directly to the consumers, in their homes or in any other location away from permanent retail premises. Word-of-mouth referrals largely drive such types of sales . Products sold through direct selling companies have unique features and are exclusive to the company, and are not available in malls or department stores.

The direct selling industry has thrived based on such relationship-based marketing for more than 150 years. Approximately 100 million people around the world are involved in this industry in both part-time and full-time capacity.

Is QNET an Investment Scheme?

QNET is NOT an investment scheme. In fact, it is not any type of scheme at all. It is a legitimate direct selling business where you only pay money to purchase products. If you are interested in becoming a distributor of QNET products, you can sign up as an independent representative (IR) through our e-commerce portal at www.qnet.net . And that’s a major part of the truth about QNET!

How Can I Make Money with QNET?

The truth about QNET is that the only way to earn an income with QNET is through product sales. This is unlike a pyramid scheme that relies on recruitment! Once you use our products and enjoy them and refer others to purchase them, you can earn commissions on actual sales. QNET uses a compensation plan that calculates commissions payable to you based on the sales volume generated through your referrals in our e-commerce portal.

Many entrepreneurial people have taken advantage of our business model to build large sales teams and grow a successful business. Because you’re your own boss with the QNET opportunity, your earning potential is endless!

Do I Have to Recruit Other People to Make Money?

You cannot make money in this business just by recruiting people without sales of products and services. Only pyramid schemes focus on recruiting people. Such schemes are not sustainable and will inevitably collapse. The QNET business is based on a sustainable sales model that does not allow anyone to make money solely through recruitment. And that’s why even after 20 years, we continue to grow and expand internationally.

How Quickly Can I Start Making an Income with QNET?

QNET is a business just like any other. It is not a get-rich-quick scheme. To succeed in this business, you need to work hard, build a team, make strategic plans for growth, be patient and committed, and be goal-oriented. This business gives you the opportunity to become an entrepreneur. The only difference is that you do not have to worry about large-scale start-up costs and operational overheads like in a traditional business. Your success depends entirely upon you and the work you put in.

What Else Should I Know About QNET? The Truth about QNET

  • QNET has been in business since 1998. In the last 20+ years, millions of people have been empowered to live better lives by using our products and services and by becoming entrepreneurs with our business opportunities.
  • QNET is also the official direct selling partner of Manchester City Football Club since 2014 .
  • At QNET, we care about the communities in which we do business. We have been actively involved in giving back to the community around the world through our CSR arm, the RYTHM Foundation .
