The Basics of Descriptive Essay

A descriptive essay is an essay that requires the student to provide a detailed and precise description of their chosen subject.

When writing about a person, the goal is to introduce your reader to the person you are writing about.

You will want to include important facts about them and discuss their personality, including their beliefs, hobbies, and interests. You should also provide vivid examples that illustrate the person's characteristics.

Now that you know what makes a great descriptive essay about a person , it’s time to start writing. Here are some steps that will help you create an effective and engaging essay:

1. Choose a Person You Admire:

Select someone who has impacted your life in a special way, or someone whose qualities you admire greatly. Look for role models in your life. In addition, it is important to choose someone you have enough information.

For example writing a descriptive essay about mother is easier than writing an essay about anyone else.

You can also polish your descriptive writing skills by writing on other descriptive essay topics .

2. Research the Person Thoroughly:

Before you begin writing, make sure you have enough information about the person. You can research by talking to people who know the person well, or reading books and articles written about them.

3. Create an Outline:

This helps keep your essay organized and focused. You can use the basic structure of an essay with an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion as a guide. So make sure you include all of the important points in your outline.

4. Use Vivid Language and Imagery:

Describe anything that stands out about the person, such as their physical appearance and mannerisms. Use powerful adjectives to give life to your essay and make it more interesting for your readers.

5. Include Relevant Examples:

Using real-life examples adds depth and texture to your essay. These can be anything from stories of when you met the person or a unique trait that they possess. Examples will also help make your essay more illustrative and descriptive.

6. Write an Effective Conclusion:

Your conclusion should serve as a summary of all the points you have discussed in your essay. Make sure to end on a positive note and provide your readers with a lasting impression of your subject’s character.

Reading some example essays will clarify it even more. So let's check out some examples below.

How to Write a Descriptive Essay About a Person You Admire

essay about someone you admire

Writing a descriptive essay, or a “describe a person you admire essay” can be a fantastic way of developing your writing skills. These skills will be particularly useful if you choose to write fiction.

This type of writing is very different to academic writing, but it is hugely rewarding, and doing it well can become a stepping stone into a career in writing in the United Kingdom.

Step one: Choose your subject/Brainstorm

The essay about someone you admire could focus on, for example, your father, your mother, a friend, a grandparent, a celebrity like UK favourite Kate Middleton, a public figure like Mahatma Ghandi or your favourite teacher.

Write a paragraph about a person you admire as you brainstorm. Think about what message you want to get across.

Step two: Write your first draft

Your first draft is exactly that – a first draft. Don’t worry too much about everything being perfect. The most important thing at this point is getting all your thoughts down on paper.

Remember, this is a descriptive essay about a person you love and feel admiration for – you want the reader to feel as though they know the person after reading your piece.

A good writer can make you feel as though you know a person. A great writer makes you care about the person.

Show, don’t tell

I’m sure you’ve come across this term before. It’s the mantra of most creative writers and their teachers. But what does it actually mean?

It’s simple really. Use words to build up a picture in your reader’s mind. Don’t just tell them things; let them see it in their mind.

For example:

Telling – The man was angry

Showing – The man jumped to his feet, his face red and frowning. He gave an unintelligible roar, spraying spittle in front of his face. He crossed the room in three quick strides, wrenching the door open and slamming it shut behind him.

Do you see the difference there? You can show the reader that the man is angry without even using the word. I’m sure I don’t need to explain why showing is a better writing technique.

Use the senses

To really bring your piece to life and make the reader feel a personal connection to your writing, use all of the senses:

Sight – Describe the physical attributes of the person

Sound – What does their speech sound like?

Touch – What do they feel like – for example, are their hands rough from years of hard work?

Smell – What smells do you associate with the person? Did they always wear a certain scent?

Taste – Do you associate any tastes with the person? Did they have a signature cake recipe that no one can match?

Step three: Edit

Reread your work, concentrating on the following:

  • Does the essay flow well? If not, re-order your paragraphs until it does.
  • Try to imagine you are reading about a stranger. Have you included enough details to make you feel like you know them? Do you know what they look like? Do you feel as though you understand their character and motivations?
  • Have you showed rather than told?
  • Of course, check your spelling, punctuation and grammar too. Have you used clichés? Too many adjectives?

If, at the end of the piece, you feel something towards the person, you have done a good job!

For decades now, the UK has been an extremely popular destination for students across the world. Every year, students flock to cities across the biggest channel island in search of a higher education that will help them to land the job of their dreams. But why do so many individuals make the journey to the UK and its education system?

The United Kingdom is an extremely diverse place. Despite London being one of the central hubs of Europe, it is far different from similar cities such as Berlin, Paris or Madrid, as is the rest of the country. There’s simply nowhere else like it. Culturally, there is a tonne of differences, traditions and just the way things work can vary from town to town, city to city.

Describe a person you love/like/admire

You should say

  • who that person is
  • what you usually do with this person
  • how often you see this person

and explain why you love/like/admire this person.

Sample Answer 1:

“More often than not, if people are asked this question, their answer would either be a celebrity like an actor or a singer, a politician, or someone who is famous. But for me, I would have to say that the person I most admire is a family member.

For everyone, ‘family’ is the most valuable asset. One cannot exist without a family, and a family is a place where everyone may expect to get anything without expecting anything in return. That is why the person I look up to the most is my father. He keeps our family together. In my life, he is my hero. For his exceptional abilities, my father is extremely admirable.

He has led me along the right route so that I can excel in both my professional and personal lives. He aided me in every way imaginable while I was a child, and as I grew older, he showed me how to make decisions. The most essential thing is that he never compels me to do or perform something against my choice. He always gives me the benefit of the doubt, presents me the options, and leads me to choose the best path. I am now a well-known photographer in our city, thanks to his guidance. When he learned that I wanted to be a photographer, he lowered his costs in half and purchased me the first camera of my life.

My father is no longer employed and spends his time with his family and friends. Most of his pals have retired as well, and they spend their time together reminiscing about their youth. My father also takes my mom out on occasion. They spend the entire day outside and return at night, just like they did when they first married. My parents’ romanticism appeals to me. Furthermore, my father enjoys gardening and looks after the garden in front of our house. He frequently purchases flowers in various categories and requests that I photograph him with the plants.

I admire and will continue to admire my father for his honesty, integrity, and sense of duty. I have never seen him neglect his obligations to my family. My father’s most distinguishing characteristic is his compassion for people, regardless of their relationship with him. In the midst of his hundreds of tasks, he rushed to care for a member of the family who had become ill. He also used to assist the poor and keep the events hidden from us. I am extremely fortunate to have such a wonderful father.”

Follow-up Question:

Does your father know how much you admire him?

“Yes, I have told him before and I would definitely continue to let him know how much I admire and respect him not just as my father but as a person as well. He deserves to know the kind of impact he had on me and my siblings.”

Do you think you would also become a good father in the future?

“It’s really hard to know what the future holds, but if I would be like my father, even half of what he has accomplished, I’d be extremely grateful. He has become a good father to me and my siblings and a good husband to my mom and we couldn’t ask for anything. I sure hope to be like him when the time comes.“

Writing an Essay about Someone Who Inspires or you Admire

Writing an Essay about Someone Who Inspires or you Admire

Write an Essay About Someone

Write an Essay About Someone

Writing an essay about someone is not the easiest subject to write. One should write it in such a way that it talks of a person or two while at the same time it relates to how it applies to his or her opinion on a certain topic.

The good news is we are here to empower you with the correct skill.  That is whether it is writing an essay of gratitude towards a family member. Or, someone who helped you get through school. And lastly, an influential figure in the world that inspired who you are today. Let’s get started.

Why are some People a Good Topic for an Essay

1. personal relations         .

Whatever the case, the more information you have about the relationship, the better your essay will be.

writing about my family

You may write about the relationship between you and the person you are writing about. Maybe it is a romantic relationship, a business relationship, or a friendship. Maybe it’s a family member , or maybe you have never met this person.

You should also try to explain what makes this person stand out from others in their field, or their life (or both): how do they compare to other people? What makes them so special?

2. Your Experience with them

Some people are just so fascinating that you could write a whole essay about them. Others are just average, or boring, and make for a poor essay topic. You need to be able to look at life objectively and see what makes good writing material and what does not.

Start by developing an idea about the person you want to write about — maybe it is someone you know well, or maybe it is someone you do not know very well but have observed from afar. The more details you can observe about a person, the better “material” they will be for your essay.

3. Their Achievements

You can write an essay about someone who has had a positive impact on your life. Also, you can use this essay as an opportunity to reflect on how that person has helped you grow and mature as a person.

Some people may have trouble writing about themselves.  So, if you know someone who fits that description, you could offer to write the essay for them. This is also a great opportunity for adults to reminisce about their childhood, and think about all of the people who helped them get where they are today.

If you choose to write about someone from your childhood, keep in mind that it’s a good idea to do some research on that person before starting your essay. As such, you can get a better sense of who they are and what makes them unique.

success and fails

4. Their Failures

The best essays often feature about topics that may initially seem negative. Such include topics as coping with loss, enduring a difficult challenge, hoping for a better future, or dealing with the darker aspects of life.

In your essay, you must present yourself as someone who loves to learn, can think critically, and has a passion for things—anything.

5. Their Jobs

When you write a profile essay about someone with an interesting job, you can focus on what they do, how they got into it, and why they like the job. You can also focus on how they help others and how their job makes them feel.

Those people whose jobs serve the general public in some fashion are good candidates for profile essays. This includes doctors, nurses, teachers, police officers, and firemen, but also mechanics, janitors, housekeepers, and even waitresses.

The reason is that these people are doing something that affects at least a few of us daily. They have chosen a career or profession that most of us will need at one time or another in our lives.

6. Famous People or Stars

The first thing to think about when choosing a person to write about is why they are relevant to your course or subject. For example, writing about the historical figures of World War 2 is likely a good choice if you are in a history class, but it would not fit well in a biology class.

some famous people

Once you find someone who fits into the curriculum, then you need to find someone who is interesting enough that many people will want to read what you wrote about them.

This means that most famous people are good choices because they have been written about so much that there is a lot of research available on their lives and deeds.

However, if you know something interesting about an obscure person, then they can also be good choices.

How to Write an Essay about Someone

Explain the person you are writing about.

Choose someone who you have interests in. It makes it easy for you to get more material on the subject since you love talking about the person and sharing their stories with other people. The person should be someone whose actions and beliefs have always been so informative to you, and they influence what you do and how you think.

a person's attributes

The person should be someone who has had a significant influence on your life.

If you can’t meet the person, then research as much as possible about them before writing the essay. Start by asking questions from people who know them well.

Craft Your Thesis about the Person

Decide on your thesis statement. A thesis statement is a one- to two-sentence statement that presents the main idea and makes an assertion about your issue. You may have a longer thesis for much longer essays, but one to two sentences is a good general guideline.

And, remember, in an argumentative essay , the assertion you present in your thesis is going to be particularly important. When you make your assertion in your thesis, it should be clear and direct.

If your assertion is going to be controversial from some quarters, you want to make sure that it’s something that you can support with the evidence that you’ve included in your essay.

Write your arguments about him/her

Writing an essay about someone requires one to write about someone who you probably know or you have a strong feeling about or inspire you.

The feelings that you have towards such a person are the ones that will color your observation. Note that your observation should be specific like describing the physical features of the person, their personality, character, or any other aspect about them.

Cite and Reference

When writing an essay about someone, you need to cite and reference properly . This shows your tutor that you have a good understanding of academic writing and can use the proper methods when citing and referencing sources.

What do you think about the person?

The person described in the essay should be a strong, brave, and intelligent person.

Other people’s side

He has a reputation as an author that is more than a bit exaggerated. He does write well and he does write quickly (most people can’t do both), but he’s no Hemingway or Orwell. His work is usually quite good, though, and he certainly knows his subject matter.

The person is very humble and nice to talk with. She can handle pressure. She is good at her work and very punctual.

How to Write a Speech About Someone I Admire

Kimberley McGee

Tips on Writing a Welcome Address at a High School Graduation

It is an honor to be asked or to be able to write a speech about someone that you admire. When the task is to write a speech, it can feel like a daunting endeavor, particularly when the subject is someone you look up to or who had a large impact on your life. Whether it is for an award ceremony or a school assignment, family reunion or wedding anniversary, cobbling together a compelling speech about someone you admire can be a moving moment as well as an enjoyable experience.

Getting Started on Speech Writing

Before you reach for all the words, begin with just a few. Create an outline that will touch on your key points. Consider the person and jot down what comes to mind when you concentrate on the individual as well as how he or she has made an impact on you and others. If it is a family member, reach into the past and showcase some of his or her early experiences.

Once you have a relatively rough outline of what you hope to touch on, write your introduction. The introduction sets the tone and grabs your audience. Some ways to craft an attention-grabbing introduction is to start with a question, a well-known joke or anecdote. Make sure it is something that the entire audience can understand.

Person I Admire Speech Body Basics

When writing a speech about someone you admire, turn your attention not only to the person, but accomplishments, inflections of speech or other personal traits. There are two objectives when giving a speech, to make a good impression and leave the audience with a clear and informative understanding of your subject. Consider your audience before sitting down to write your speech. The missive should reflect the occasion, either light and jovial or stern and touching. Focus your audience’s attention on the main facts quickly by giving a preview in the opening descriptive paragraph. Establish goodwill from the beginning and grab the crowd’s attention with a pithy turn of phrase or poignant piece of literature.

Reach Out for Inspiration

Look at an example of a speech about someone who was admired for speech writing tips. Comedian and actress Maya Rudolph gave a gripping commencement speech in 2015 that focused on people that she admired. These included her family as well as people she admired in the industry, including Oprah Winfrey and Beyonce. If you need moments of inspiration while you are writing your speech about someone you admire, turn to those who have gone before you. Studying compelling speeches can help you understand how to convey emotion and impact through your carefully chosen words. If you are writing about family members, ask those who have given speeches in the past for encouragement.

Sample Descriptive Essay About A Person You Admire

  • Views 334545
  • Author Abigal W.

When asked about the person I admire in the universe, I do not require to look at celebrities or any other big influential names in society. When it comes to me, the person I admire most in the world is my mother. We all have people whom we consider to be highly inspirational and influential to look upon, and in my case, my mother is an excellent example of these characters. She is an extraordinary person in my life because of her enduring strength that I dearly admire, and she is also kind as well as supportive.

One thing I most admire about my mother for is her strength, which appears to be resistant throughout hard times. My mother is a single mother, and she has managed to raise three children all by herself, providing us with a good life and education, while still balancing work. For instance, when my brother and I cleared high school, only one of us hoped to join college because of our financial situation, but she worked two jobs to ensure that we enrolled in college. Single mothers across the globe face financial instability where they are forced to engage in other strategies to extend income to take care of their family (West et al. 359). I hold great admiration for my mother because of her determination, how she never backs down, and the way she stands up for what she believes in no matter the hardships that come along.

My mother has a striking appearance, but behind this, she is very alluring, admirable, and kind. At first, one can conclude that she is a blunt and cold person because of her quiet nature, but after knowing her, she turns out to be a friendly, warm-hearted, gentle, and generous person. My mother has been a dedicated individual in the society through volunteering in church during weekends and holidays as well as helping in the local homeless shelters. Kindness is crucial and healthy since one takes pride in caring for others since they need caring, and it gives people a pleasant feeling (Adamu par. 6). Thanks to my mother, I have grown to be a kind-hearted and deeply-caring person since I believe that it's upon me to help those in need whenever I am capable.

I am lucky to have a mother who always supports me no matter my misgivings. No matter the activity I am in or the decision I make, my mother is still there for me to give me advice and encouragement, but at the end of the day, she is at all times by my side. I had a difficult time adapting to my first year in high school, and I almost quit, but my mum listened to my grievances, and with her support, I managed to finish high school. Supportive behavior is crucial for individual well-being, especially when it comes to emotional support, where a person can be able to relieve distress from a challenge (MacGeorge and Van Swol 7). My mother's supportive character has given me the strength to endure a lot of challenging situations in life as well as learn a lot in what life has to offer.

Special people like my mother exist to make our lives better and to mold us to become a better version of ourselves. My mother is a strong spirited person, kind-hearted, has unbreakable strength and very supportive. Over the years, I have learned a lot through her character and thoughts, which have molded me to the caring, decent, and brilliant person I am today. The people around us turn out to be the best role models.

Common Application: 5 Good College Essay Topics

  • By Dr. Pamela Ellis
  • Posted April 4, 2019
  • In College Admissions , college application essays

In our recent post, we listed a few good common essay topics on college applications. We’ll tackle each question to provide you with insights on how best to respond. Here’s a few common app essay questions that can give some students a place to start:

1. Write About a Book You’ve Read

If you’re a student who doesn’t “like reading” or doesn’t “have time to read outside of class,” it’s imperative to plan ahead for this question. I advise my students to read a book during breaks or over the summer before senior year.

Get a recommendation from a close friend or local librarian. Many librarians publish a list of popular teen books. Once you’ve chosen a book, ensure it’s at an appropriate grade level and that you finish it.

Remember, the essay response should not be a book report. College application essays come from the heart, so this is a great opportunity to move away from the five-paragraph essay model. The emphasis should be on YOU!

Focus on how the book impacted you. Here are two ways to do that:

  • Detail how this particular book changed your thinking on a topic or challenged a belief.
  • Explain what this book meant to you.

Focusing on these aspects keeps the emphasis on YOU.

2. Who Is Someone You Admire?

A Common App essay prompt, a similar question is worded as, “Indicate a person who has had a significant influence on you and describe that influence.” Even if your college application simply asks, “Who is someone you admire?” go further into detail by describing that influence on your identity, interest or talent.

It should only take you about 5-10 words to tell who you admire. Then, the other 150+ words should show why you admire that person. Avoid the low-hanging fruit like historical figures or your parents, and instead, dig deeper.

Consider these questions:

  • What is a meaningful experience I can describe well?
  • What happened in that meaningful experience?
  • Who was there with me?
  • What characteristic of a specific person was most memorable?

These responses will help you write a strong essay that stands out.

3. Why Do You Want to Attend This College?

The third most common question is best answered after a formal campus visit. Schedule a visit through the admissions office and participate in a tour or informational session. Driving by the campus or hanging out with a high school friend who attends does not count!

When responding to this question, here are some quick tips:

  • Gather your notes from your campus visit and review them.
  • Think about the features of the campus that stood out the most.
  • Consider what qualities about yourself match those features.
  • Keep the college features very specific to that college.

These tips will help you communicate effectively to admissions readers, allowing them to picture you at their institution.

4. Tell Me About a Meaningful Activity for You

This question can be challenging because it’s easy to fall into clichés. The key is to think about what makes you unique. Start by free-writing your initial response for about 10 minutes. Ignore grammar and just write.

Does your response sound like you or every other applicant? Avoid common leadership roles and think about what activity uniquely represents you. Once you state the activity in about 25 words or less, the remainder of your essay should focus on why it is meaningful to you.

5. What Do You Want to Do 10 Years from Now?

The emphasis here is on “you.” Be creative and reflect your uniqueness. You don’t have to link the college with your future career.

Avoid being too “over-the-top” or silly. Write a thoughtful response that shows your interests, focusing on being imaginative and honest.

Please share your thoughts in the comments below. We will respond with feedback to help you and other visitors to our site. So, what do you want to do 10 years from now?

Introduction.

The person I admire the most is my grandmother. She is the heart of our family and teaches us about love and kindness.

Her Kindness

My grandmother is very kind. She always helps people and animals. She gives food to those who are hungry and cares for stray cats and dogs.

She knows a lot about life and shares her knowledge with us. When I have a problem, she gives me great advice that helps me solve it.

250 Words Essay on Person I Admire The Most

The person I admire the most is my mother. She is the heart of our family and a person full of love and strength. Her kindness touches everyone she meets, and her courage is something I look up to every day.

Kindness and Care

My mother is very kind. She always helps me with my homework and listens to my problems. When my friends come over, she makes snacks for us. She also takes care of my grandparents with great patience. Her smile makes our home a happy place.

Hard Work and Dedication

She works very hard. Every morning, she is the first to wake up to prepare breakfast. After that, she goes to her job and still manages to cook dinner when she comes back. She teaches me that working hard is important if you want to achieve your goals.

Bravery and Strength

My mother is also very brave. When things get tough, she doesn’t give up. Once, when I was sick, she stayed up all night to take care of me. She makes me feel safe because I know she will always be there for me.

In conclusion, my mother is the person I admire the most. Her kindness, hard work, and bravery inspire me to be a better person. I feel lucky to have her in my life, and I hope to make her proud of me. She is not just my mom; she is my hero.

500 Words Essay on Person I Admire The Most

My grandmother has a warm smile that lights up the room and a hug that feels like the coziest blanket on a cold day. She never misses a chance to help others. Whether it’s baking cookies for the neighbors or knitting sweaters for babies in the hospital, she’s always thinking of ways to make others happy. Her kindness teaches me to be caring and to think of others before myself.

Life has thrown many challenges at my grandmother, but she stands strong like a mighty tree against a storm. When my grandfather was sick, she took care of him with such love and never complained. Even when she’s tired, she finds the energy to play games with me or listen to my stories. Her strength shows me that no matter what happens, we can get through it if we stay strong and positive.

Her Love for Learning

Even though my grandmother is old, she loves to learn new things. She takes cooking classes, reads lots of books, and even learned how to use a computer just so she could email me when I’m away at camp. She says that you’re never too old to learn something new, and that inspires me to be curious and never stop learning.

Her Joyful Spirit

My grandmother finds joy in the little things. A bird singing, a flower blooming, or a beautiful sunset can make her smile. She teaches me to appreciate the beauty around us and find happiness in simple moments. Her joyful spirit is contagious, and it reminds me to look for the good in every day.

Advice | Ask Anna: How to tell if you like someone or just admire them

essay about someone you admire

I need advice. I’m on the spectrum but unsure if my problem is related to my autism. Since I was a child, I’ve struggled to distinguish between strong admiration and romantic crushes. Often, I develop obsessive feelings for someone based on their exceptional skills in a field I’m interested in — like music or gaming. I don’t focus on who they are as a person; my admiration for their talent turns into intense daydreams about making music together, seeking their approval and sexual fantasies.

When I notice this pattern, I realize it’s more about wanting to be like them rather than genuine attraction. Unfortunately, this has led me into some risky situations. Is there a way to manage or overcome this? How do I actually know my crush is real? — Confused and Concerned

It’s completely understandable to feel confused when admiration for someone’s skills turns into what feels like a romantic crush. The question — Do I like them or do I want to be them? — comes up for many people, regardless of if they’re on the spectrum or not, and honestly, I don’t think we talk enough about how hot competence is, as a culture. So I’ll just say it: People who are skilled and passionate about their interests? FIRE.

As Lisa Laman , who writes about autism and dating for the amazing (and newly revamped) sex ed website Scarleteen (1), says, “As a fellow autistic person, I know all too well that it’s incredibly easy to get ‘blinders on’ and get stuck on one single perspective.”

How can we tell if our feelings are romantic or merely admiration?

In your case, probably the big question I would ask in such circumstances is: Would I still be interested in this person if they lost their exceptional skills or achievements?

You might not know the person well enough to answer this right away, but it’s a good one to keep in mind as you get to know people.

To help manage these feelings of uncertainty, Laman suggests finding potential crushes outside your areas of expertise. “Removing your deep immediate passion for their interests will give you a chance to know newcomers as people first and foremost,” she says. This way, you can focus on their personality and shared values, rather than just their talents or skills.

Additionally, when you feel an epic crush coming on, it’s important to do a little self-reflection check-in on your feelings. Do you enjoy their company and feel comfortable sharing your thoughts and feelings with them? Do you feel excited about the prospect of getting to know them better, beyond their abilities or accomplishments?

Laman offers another helpful question to ponder, gleaned from her therapist. “Ask yourself: Would I want people saying this or doing this to me? ” If the answer is no, then it might be time to step back or change the behavior.

“Getting a handle on that reality right away can help you avoid any of those ‘risky situations,’” Laman notes.

Here are a few other practical steps you can take:

Diversify your social circles: Engage in activities and groups outside your primary interests to meet people with different backgrounds and skills. Badminton? Vegan sushi making? Saving the whales? The world is your oyster!

Focus on personal qualities: When you meet someone new, make a conscious effort to learn about their values, sense of humor and other personal traits. Are they kind to animals? Are they loyal or honest or respectful to others? If you’re unsure what traits or qualities you admire in a friend or partner, you might want to make a list. Then, when you get a crush, you can refer to the list to see if there’s an overlap in values and personality traits.

Set boundaries: If you notice your admiration becoming obsessive, set clear boundaries for yourself. Limit the time you spend thinking about or interacting with that person until your feelings become more manageable.

Seek support: If you’re really unsure about your feelings, it can be helpful to ask an impartial third party, aka a friend, who will be honest with you.

And, if you need more help than a friend can provide, consider talking to a therapist who specializes in autism. A good therapist can provide tailored strategies to help you navigate any confusion.

Remember, it’s OK to admire someone’s skills and achievements, but healthy relationships consider the whole person — and are built on mutual respect and understanding.
