APRCET 2024 for PhD & M.Phil Admission (AP Research Common Entrance Test)

APRCET 2024 or AP RCET 2024 would be conducted for PhD & M.Phil Admission (AP Research Common Entrance Test) by the Andhra University for the academic year 2023-2024.

Based on the test, the admissions will be given into PhD and M.Phil programmes for both full time and part-time candidates in 14 Universities in the state. The APRCET test will be conducted in 73 subjects.

Andhra Pradesh Research Common Entrance Test, APRCET is scheduled to be conducted by Andhra University in November. The online application for the same had commenced from September 1 on https://sche.ap.gov.in/RCET /.

Interested and eligible candidates who aspire to seek admission to full-time or part-time PhD or M.Phil. courses from 14 universities, research centres and affiliated colleges present across the state of Andhra Pradesh can apply for AP RCET on the official website, sche.ap.gov.in. Steps to apply and the direct link to the APRCET online application has been given below.

A provision of correction of online application data already submitted would be given after completion of the application process.

APRCET hall tickets would be made available for download one week before commencement of exam date. The application fee is Rs 1440 for General and OBC category.

Make fee payment first and then proceed towards the Online application.

Eligibility criteria for APRCET PhD & M.Phil Admissions:

The eligibility criteria for admission to APRCET (admission into M.Phil./Ph.D. programme) is the candidate should have a Master’s degree or

A professional degree declared equivalent to the Master’s degree by the corresponding statutory regulatory body, with at least 55 per cent of marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade ‘B’ in the UGC 7-point scale.

Those who are waiting for the result of PG Degree can also apply for APRCET. But they have to full fill the required criteria at the time of interview.

Application Fee for APRCET admissions: The fee structure for APRCET is Rs. 1500/- for OC, Rs. 1300/- for BC and Rs. 1000/- for SC, ST and PWD candidates.

Examination Pattern of APRCET

The examinations would be conducted for 180 marks. In two parts. The Part-A is in the teaching and research aptitude for 90 marks in 90 minutes, whereas part-B is in the subject-specific for 90 marks in 90 minutes. There would be 1/6 negative mark for each wrong answer.

Selection Process for APRCET

Qualified Candidates in the Entrance Test would be called for interview/viva-voce by the concerned University department where the candidates are required to discuss their research interest through a presentation before a duly constituted committee. The interview is for 20 marks.

AP RCET 2023-24 Online Application Form

Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati, will conduct the AP RCET 2024 . through this exam APSCHE will take admissions for Ph.D. & M.phill for the academic year 2024 -25. APRCET 2024 Application Fee

The application fee per subject per candidate is Rs. 1500/—for OC, Rs. 1300/—for BC, and Rs. 1000/—for SC/ST/PWD. No subject(s) correction will be permitted after submitting the application.

Eligibility Criteria for AP RCET 2024

Before filling out the APRCET 2024 application form, you need to verify the eligibility criteria prescribed by APSCHE. The eligibility criteria are listed below. For M.phill & Ph.D. (Full-time): Applicants should complete the PG with at least 55% marks in all the subjects. All Sc, ST, and PWD Aspirants have to secure 50% marks in all the subjects.

Candidates for admission to M.Phil./Ph.D. programme shall have a Master’s degree or a professional degree declared equivalent to the Master’s degree by the corresponding statutory regulatory body, with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade ‘B’ in the UGC 7-point scale (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) or an equivalent degree from a foreign educational Institution accredited by an Assessment and Accreditation Agency which is approved, recognized or authorized by an authority, established or incorporated under a law in its home country or any other statutory authority in that country to assess, accredit or assuring quality and standards of educational institutions.
A relaxation of 5% of marks, from 55% to 50%, or an equivalent relaxation of grade, may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/PWD and other categories of candidates as per the decision of the University Grants Commission from time to time, or for those who had obtained their Master’s degree prior to 19th September, 1991. The eligibility marks of 55% (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and the relaxation of 5% to the categories mentioned above are permissible based only on the qualifying marks without including the grace mark procedures.

For M.phill & Ph.D. (Part-time): Applicants should qualify for a PG from any recognized University. Aspirants should aggregate at least 55% of marks in all the subjects. All Sc, ST, and PWD Aspirants have to secure 50% of marks in all the subjects. Aspirants who are pursuing are also eligible for the AP RCET Admissions 2024. Aspirants of a foreign nation are also eligible for this admission 2024.

AP RCET Exam Pattern 2024

An Entrance test will be conducted for 180 marks. The Entrance Test consists of two parts: Part-A and Part-B. Part-A will be the Teaching and Research Aptitude for 90 marks, whereas Part-B will be the subject-specific for 90 marks. Part A shall be the Teaching and Research Aptitude, following the UGC NET Paper-I Syllabus. The syllabus for Part B is available on the APRCET website. Applicants who completed the application forms should check the AP RCET Exam Pattern given below. The questions will be asked in English Medium. This AP RCET Exam Paper contains 20 questions in research Methodology and 70 questions from the concerned subjects. The paper consists of 100 marks and the rest of the remaining 10 marks will be oral Examination conducted by the DSC.

AP RCET Syllabus (Subject-wise)

An Entrance Test shall be with qualifying marks as 50% for open category candidates and 45% for OBC/SC/ST/PH categories.

Qualified Candidates in the Entrance Test will be called for interview/viva-voce by the concerned University Department where the candidates are required to discuss their research interest/area through a presentation before a duly constituted Committee. Interview is for 20 marks. Interview Committee shall consist of three members; Head of the Department, Chairman, Board of Studies and one Senior Faculty member from the Department nominated by the Vice-Chancellor. The interview shall also consider the following aspects, viz. whether:

the candidate possesses the competence for the proposed research;
the research work can be suitably undertaken at the Institution/College;
the proposed area of research can contribute to new/additional knowledge.

AP RCET 2024 Results

The Admissions Committee will award ranks/final marks out of 200 after clubbing the marks of the entrance test (180 marks) and interview (20 marks) . After the Examination is completed, Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati, will declare the AP RCET Results 2024. The University will release the Results along with the merit list 2024. All the candidates need to download the AP RCET Merit Lists and results from the website above. The Results will be displayed in September. The candidates will be called for counseling based on the merit list.

Admission into Part-time category will be made on the basis of service seniority in the respective categories. 1. Regular Faculty working in the University or the P.G. Centers. 2. (a) Faculty working in Post graduate and Professional colleges having completed at least two years of service. This provision is not applicable to Faculty teaching Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Humanities in professional colleges. or (b) Faculty/Librarians/Asst. Librarians working in affiliated degree colleges or (c) Faculty working in Polytechnic/Government or private aided Junior Colleges having completed at least four years of service 3. Technical employees working in research institutes having completed at least five years of service. APRCET 2023 Pattern:- An Entrance test shall be conducted for 180 marks. The Entrance Test consists of two parts, i.e., Part-A and Part-B. Part-A shall be the Teaching and Research Aptitude for 90 marks, whereas Part-B shall be the subject specific for 90 marks. AP RCET 2024 Eligibility

Ph.D. can be pursued by candidates possessing the minimum qualifications as specified below either on a Full-Time (FT)/ Part-Time (PT) basis in the Faculties of Science, Arts, Humanities, Social Science, Fine Arts, Education, Physical Education, Commerce, and Management Studies, Engineering and Technology, Architecture & Planning, Law and Pharmaceutical Sciences, etc., Admissions into Ph. D. program will be made within the framework of reservation rules in force prescribed by the Government of Andhra Pradesh from time to time. The details of faculty/ specialization-wise eligibility criteria will be notified in detail along with the APRCET notification.

Full-Time (FT)

(a) Candidates for admission to the Ph.D. program shall have a Master’s Degree or a professional degree declared equivalent to the Master’s degree by the corresponding statutory regulatory body, with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade ‘B’ in the UGC 7-Point scale (or an equivalent grade on a point scale wherever grading system is followed) or an equivalent degree from a foreign educational established or incorporated under a law in its home country or any other stator in that country to assess, accredit or assuring quality and standards of educational institutions.

(b) A relaxation of 5% of marks, from 55% to 50% or an equivalent relaxation of grade, may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/BC (non-creamy layer)/ Differently abled and other categories of candidates as per the decision of the University Grants Commission from time to time, or for those who had obtained their Master’s degree. The eligibility marks of 55% (or an equivalent grade on a point scale where the grading system is followed) and the relaxation of 5% to the categories mentioned above are permissible based only on the qualifying marks without including the grave mark procedures.

Part-time (PT)

Candidates satisfying the eligibility conditions noted above can be admitted as Part-Time candidates through an entrance test, as per the following order of priority. Admission into the Part-Time category will be made based on service seniority in the respective categories.

Regular Faculty working in the University or at the P.G. Centers.
(a) Faculty working in Post Graduate and Professional colleges having completed at least two years of service. This provision does not apply to Faculty teaching Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Humanities in professional colleges. OR
(b) Faculty/ Librarians/Assistant Librarians working in affiliated degree / PG colleges and Faculty teaching Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Humanities in professional colleges having completed at least two years of service. OR
(c) Faculty working in Polytechnic/ Government or private aided junior Colleges/Schools having completed at least four years of service.

Candidates satisfying the following requirements shall be eligible to appear for APRCET:

A. Candidate should be of Indian Nationality or persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/ Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cardholders.
B. Candidates should belong to the State of Andhra Pradesh. The candidate should satisfy local/ Non-local status requirements laid down in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulations of Admission) Order, 1974 as subsequently amended.
C. Ph.D. can be pursued by candidates possessing the minimum qualifications as specified below either on a Full-Time (FT) or Part-Time (PT) basis in the faculties of Sciences, Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences, Fine Arts, Education, Physical Education, Commerce, and Management studies, Engineering & Technology, Architecture & Planning, Law, Pharmaceutical Sciences, etc., Admissions into Ph.D. programs will be made within the framework of reservation rules in force prescribed by the Government of Andhra Pradesh from time to time.
D. Candidates for admission into Ph.D. programs shall have a Master’s degree or a professional degree declared equivalent to the Master’s degree by the corresponding statutory regulatory body with at least 55% marks in the aggregate or its equivalent grade “B’ in the UGC-7 point scale (or an equivalent grade in a point scale where grading system is followed) or an equivalent degree from a foreign educational institution accredited by an Assessment and Accreditation Agency which is approved, recognized or authorized by an authority, established or incorporated under a law in its home country or any statutory in that country to assess, accredit or assuring quality and standards of educational institutions.
E. A relaxation of 5% of marks, from 55% to 50% or an equivalent relaxation of grade, may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ ST/ BC/ PWD and other categories of candidates as per the decision of the University Grants Commission from time to time, or for those who had obtained their Master’s degree. F. Ph.D. discipline and eligibility in respect of qualifying P.G. Degree shall be notified by The APRCET Convener.

APRCET 2024 Application Fee

The candidate can apply for at most two subjects only in the APRCET-2024. The application fee per subject per candidate is Rs. 1500/- for OC, Rs.1300/- for BC, and Rs. 1000/- for SC /ST/ PWD. No correction in the subject(s) will be permitted after applying.

How To Apply For APRCET 2024?

Applications should be submitted online only.
For online submission, visit the website cets.apsche.ap.gov.in/rcet.
The candidate has to pay Rs. 1500/- for OC, Rs. 1300/- for BC, and Rs. 1000/- for SC/ ST/ PWD per subject.
After filling out the online Application form with all the required details, verify all the details carefully and press the ‘Submit’ button.
After submitting the online application form, take the printout of the filled-in ‘Online Application Form.
Use the application number printed on the online application form for all future correspondences.

AP RCET 2024 Exam Pattern

AP RCET-2024 is a computer-based test. The test shall be in multiple choice questions. Each question carries one mark. There shall not be any negative marks. The test will be conducted for two categories of candidates.

Category-I : Candidates with PG in respective subject and qualified in UGCNET(Including JRF)/ UGC-CSIR-NET(Including JRF)/ SLET/ GATE (with valid score)/ GPAT (with valid score)/ and FDP/ Teacher Fellowship holders or who have passed M.Phil Programme. Category-I candidates have to write only Section-A (Research Methodology for 70 marks) of APRCET-2024.
Category II: Candidates have to write Section A (Research Methodology for 70 marks) and Section B (respective subject for 70 Marks) of the APRCET-2024. To qualify for an interview, candidates belonging to Category-1 and Category-II should have to secure a minimum of 50% marks for OC candidates and 45% marks for BC/ SC/ ST/ PWD in APRCET-2024. After qualifying in APRCET-2024 for an interview, the candidate has to attend an interview for (i) Category –I: 30 marks and (ii) Category II: 60 marks.

PhD in Psychology Programme

The Doctoral Programme in Psychology offers research scholars an opportunity to work on their areas of interest, within the field of psychology. Potential candidates will have to get through an entrance exam and interview to be selected for the program. VIT AP Admissions 2023 Application Fees

VIT Amaravati application form availability varies from course to course. For some of the programmes, application forms are available both online and offline, while for others, only online forms are available. Various entrance exams conducted by VIT authorities for different streams such as VITEEE for BTech, VITMEE for MTech and MCA, and VITREE for PhD. VIT AP offers full-time B.Tech in three specialisations, namely Computer Science, Electronics & Communication and Mechanical. Mentioned below are the two modes of the VIT AP application process 2023:

VIT AP B.Tech Admission 2023 Selection criteria

BTech admission is based on a valid rank in VITEEE (calculated as per system-generated algorithm based on Class 12 marks). Students with a valid JEE Main rank or SAT score will be given weightage this year.

VIT AP M.Tech Admission 2023

VIT Amaravati offers MTech programme in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) under the sub-specialisation of Very large-scale integration (VLSI) at PG level. The programme is offered under School of Electronics Engineering VLSI Design aims at clearing the fundamental concepts related to design of VLSI circuits and systems. The focus areas of the programme include Analog VLSI Design, Digital System Design, Semi-conductor Devices and Modelling. The duration of the programme is two years.

VIT AP BBA Admission 2023 Selection Criteria

Admission into the BBA programme is on the basis of Management Task which is followed by personal interview. Students are required to meet eligibility criteria to get shortlisted.

VIT AP PG Admission 2023

VIT University, Amaravathi offers M.Tech and M.Sc programs at the PG level and an integrated program in M.Tech. Admissions into the M.Tech program is done on the basis of VITMEE entrance examination which is followed by counselling. VIT AP PG Admission 2023 Selection Criteria

Admission into the M.Tech regular program is on the basis of the VITMEE examination which is followed by counselling, while for the integrated program; selection is on the basis of merit.
Admission into the M.Sc program is done on the basis of marks secured in the qualifying examination.

VIT AP Integrated Programmes Admission 2023

VIT-AP offers three integrated programmes, which include BTech+MTech under School of Engineering, BA LLB (Hons) and BBA LLB (Hons) programme under VIT School of Law (VITSOL) for the duration of five years. Both of the Law programmes are approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI). With the knowledge-oriented approach giving precedence to application-based learning over the past years, these integrated courses are designed to encourage the oratorical skills, mooting abilities, analytical and interpretative skills of the budding lawyers. VIT AP PhD Admission 2023

The University offers PhD programme at doctoral level in various specialisations under the streams of Science, Management, Engineering, Language and Law. The programme is offered in Internal (Full-Time), Internal (Part-Time) and External (Part-Time) modes. The minimum duration of PhD is three years.

the teaching staff needs to be changed but overall some of them are good
the campus life and enjoyment is the best and maintains quality
some of the staff is so worst in this university
the construction is always going on its not fully completed

i got an eamcet rank of 11k but my parents insisted me on joining this university as its a highly reputed institution i have applied for lpu it came but my parents didn't want me to attend there . the admission process is pretty simple here eligibility is 70% in intermediate and rank below 20k in srmjee

There are more clubs in college to engage in
There is nothing to dislike... Unless it is about your food taste

I choose this clg due the greater chance of placement and it is also suggested to me by so many people . I think I can spend more time within the campus due to its nature and the activities done by the campus

The things I liked in my clg is infrastructure.The infrastructure is top notch
The main thing about my campus is faculty.
The things I disliked are sometimes we don't have good facilities like powe supply.
The life also won't work lot of time so we have go for 18 or more floors through steps.

I applied this college because the ranking for this college is good.here are my seniors they said the college is good regarding to faculty, placements etc.I did not apply for any other college.I only applied for this college and I get into it.

Everything about SRM Ap

I like the environment they have built over here,it is filled with greenery and also there are benches and grand stairs every here and there so that the students can sit and discuss things or study related discussion
The gymnasium here is also very good,there are around 2 to 3 gyms around the campus and it's well equipped with all the gym equipments,and it is absolutely free for the hostelers and day scholars as well
There is nothing much to dislike on this University right now as I am a fresher..but it is a very good University

I got 30k rank in VITEEE exam and 20k rank in Amrita exam..I wanted to get an admission in the universities present in amaravati..but in amaravati the best college in these three colleges is SRM University only..the other two(VIT and Amrita)are not Fully constructed

The eligibility of the course is to complete the intermediate examinations and secure more than 75 percentage of marks The application form will be available in online and the application fees will be of 1000 rupees The reservation benefits are very less i do not availed any of those facilities The admission process is pretty much easy as one need to attend a entrance exam and need to score 75 percentage of marks in the exam which will be held online

In SRM University, Amaravati, there is a diverse community of students, where all the students has the opportunity to communicate with each other and explore and experience different cultural beliefs and rituals.
In SRM University, Amaravati, there are many clubs and societies, where students can share and show case their talent. Students has the opportunity to continue their hobbies even in the university and can explore diverse skills and art.
The tuition fee varies (increases) as the year passes.
Every year there are additional fee being collected by the university, which is too much.

To be eligible for the course, one need to get qualifying mark in SRMJEEE or SRMAPET or AP EMCET. according to the rank and marks secured, there is a variation in course eligibility. One can find all the details of the admission process in the official website of SRM university, Andhra Pradesh, i.e., srmap.edu.in. Through SRMJEEE and SRMAPET, there is no reservation, but one can get reservation benefits if he/she is taking admission through AP EMCET. For SRMJEEE and SRMAPET, the management conducts several phases every month, before the start of achademic year. According to the phase, the cut-off varies. The syllabus of these exams are same as 11th and 12th grade syllabus. These exams could be improved by conducting in offline mode, so that only worthy students get scholarships.

Overall a good experience

The faculty were great, we had a good and flexible time table in which we can do anything.
They give us a good amount of freedom and let us grow with their activities
The infrastructure is still in development but it's good to the extent that it's developed, so more in future...
The food in the hostel is not so good like it is just below average and you can't eat it daily.

You should pass 12th in any board for the eligibility for writing SRMJEE Exam and you can go the admission website to know full details, I applied for exam and yeah it's an online exam but it is strict. It is mostly easy but prepare well somtimes the paper might be twist.

I liked the Infrastructure of the collage
I do even liked some specific good teachers
I hate when some of the faculty refuse to put on some basic internal marks

I belong to BC_E muslim female category wich made me easy to get reservation . I just went through goverment councilling through online and selected the 3 collages with priorities accorgingly. I got seat in SRM AP UNIVERSITY in my first council and im enough glad for that.

If you get above 60 percentage in board exams then you are eligible to write srmjeee. The cutoff will be around 10 thousand to get Cse in SRM University Ap There will 125 question each carry 1 mark. You have to complete the exam in 1 hour 30 minutes. The difficulty level of the exam is medium.

The college atmosphere which gives vibe of btech. We can say it the best college in Andhra pradesh for btech.
Coming to infra structure which gives a an amazing feeling when we are in between them. Coming to hostel we can rate 9 out of 10

For the entrance test, the cost is 1200 INR. For cse the cutoff is 15k, for ECE 30k, for EEE 40K, and for civil 45k in 1st phase. For APEAPCET below 3k for cse, 12k for ECE, and 20k for EEE. Most of the students belong to SRM entrance only.
